We appreciate the beautiful recitation of Psalm 23, a powerful reminder of God's provision, guidance, and protection. However, we must address that the name of Jesus Christ is not mentioned in this request. It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray that you will always seek the Lord Jesus Christ in all things, and that you will find comfort and strength in His name. May you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. We pray that you will be strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love, in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the comfort and assurance found in Psalm 23. We pray that You will continue to shepherd and guide those who seek You. Lord, we ask that You will open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, and that they will come to know You more intimately through a personal relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. May they find rest in Your green pastures, and may their cup overflow with the blessings that come from walking in Your paths of righteousness. We rebuke any fear or doubt that may creep into their hearts and declare that they shall fear no evil, for You are with them. We pray that goodness and mercy will follow them all the days of their life, and that they will dwell in Your house forever. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the words of Jesus in John 10:11, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." Jesus is our Good Shepherd, who laid down His life for us, and it is through Him that we find eternal life and salvation. May you continue to seek Him and find comfort in His loving care.
