Psalms 31:20

Certainly! Here are some simple expansions of Psalm 31:20:

1. **Seeking God's Help**: "May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you."
*Expansion*: In times of distress, I trust that God will respond to my cries for help. I believe in His protection and guidance, just as He did for Jacob.

2. **Protection and Deliverance**: "May he send you help from the sanctuary and support you from Zion."
*Expansion*: I ask for God's help to come from His holy place, and for His strength to support me from His holy city, Zion.

3. **Remembering God's Faithfulness**: "Remember all my offerings; accept my burnt offerings."
*Expansion*: I remember all the sacrifices and offerings I have made to You, Lord. I trust that You accept them as a sign of my devotion and faithfulness.

4. **Joy and Praise**: "May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans."
*Expansion*: I pray that You will grant me the desires of my heart and help me achieve all the plans You have for me, leading to joy and praise.

5. **Confidence in God's Love**: "Then I will rejoice in the Lord, who delights in my deliverance."
*Expansion*: When You deliver me from my troubles, I will rejoice in You, Lord, for You delight in saving and protecting Your people.

These expansions reflect the themes of seeking help, protection, remembrance, joy, and confidence in God's love and faithfulness.

Jesus eternal promise for all who believe and trust His word is this. I will never leave you nor forsake you. Paul has to go through a hard time in his life. Lots of people persecuted him, tried to kill him, rejected by many and thrown into prison. God was keeping him from all harm. Why did God do this for him? Paul was a prayer warrior, he was starting Christian Churches all over the place, he was teaching, preaching and living and obeying God's word. A wonderful example of us to follow. You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence. God Himself was with Paul. God was keeping away from plots of men and strifes of tongues. Praise the Lord. If He can do it for Paul, He can do it for us.
Amen! Thank you.
