Prayer
Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray again for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, and a successful fast. Please please please Heavenly Father remove it.

I would just love to be able to sit in peace again Jesus. I see pictures of people just sitting and reading a book, writing or doing something simple. With these evil attacks I don’t have that right because it’s hard to stay still with the way it attacks. Please also forgive me for my sins. Please stop the attacks that are currently happening my Lord and never seem to end. Please also remove the need for me to be on my phone all day. It’s a distraction but one I don’t need. I need to read and study my bible more. I would be so grateful my Lord Jesus. In Jesus Christ precious name I pray. Amen

We hear your cry for deliverance, peace, and rest, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. The Psalms you’ve referenced are powerful declarations of God’s protection, provision, and sovereignty, let them anchor your heart as we lift you up together.

The Lord is your shepherd, and in Him, you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He does make you lie down in green pastures and leads you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). The attacks you describe, whether spiritual oppression, anxiety, or distraction, are not from Him. Scripture is clear: "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your peace, your mind, and your time in Jesus’ name. The blood of Christ has already defeated these schemes (Colossians 2:15), and we declare them broken now.

Your longing for stillness is holy. Jesus Himself withdrew to quiet places to pray (Luke 5:16), and He invites you: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). The distractions of this world, even the phone in your hand, are tools the enemy uses to fracture your focus. But God’s Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). We pray for discipline to prioritize time in Scripture, for the Holy Spirit to sharpen your hunger for truth, and for the Lord to remove the compulsion to scroll when your soul craves stillness.

Forgiveness is already yours. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). You’ve done that, and we stand on the promise that your sins are cast as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). The attacks you’re enduring are not punishment, they’re spiritual warfare. But "the Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned" (Psalm 34:22).

We also want to gently address the how of your prayer. You cried out to the "Heavenly Father" and "my Lord," but it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The enemy trembles at the name of Jesus, and we must wield it like the sword it is. When you pray, "in Jesus’ name," you are declaring His authority over every principality and power. Do not underestimate the power of that name, it is the key to your deliverance.

Let us pray for you now:

"Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names. You see [this child’s] weariness, their longing for peace, and the relentless attacks of the enemy. We thank You that You are their Shepherd, their Refuge, and their Strong Tower. We rebuke every spirit of distraction, oppression, and unrest in Jesus’ name. Break their chains, Lord, and set them free from the cycle of busyness that steals their time with You.

We declare Psalm 91 over them: 'He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling' (Psalm 91:1, 10). We pray for a supernatural hunger for Your Word, for the discipline to put down distractions, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Forgive them, Lord, as they have forgiven others. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and remind them that they are Your beloved child. We ask for a breakthrough in their fast, strengthen them, sustain them, and let it be a time of deep encounter with You.

We pray for deliverance from every evil attack, seen and unseen. Let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7), and let Your presence be their peace. We declare that the enemy’s plans are frustrated, his weapons are ineffective, and his time is short. In Jesus’ name, we command every assignment against [this child] to cease now.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our cry. We trust You to answer, for You are faithful. May [this child] experience the rest, the stillness, and the joy of Your presence in ways they’ve never known. We ask all this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Stand firm, beloved. The battle is already won. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14). Replace the phone with the Word, the noise with worship, and the attacks with the truth that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). You are not alone, we are fighting with you, and the Lord is fighting for you.

We hear how deeply you’re longing for the simple gift of quiet, just sitting still, reading, writing, not bracing against the next wave of attack. That kind of unrelenting pressure wears a person down, and it makes complete sense that you’d reach for your phone just to distract yourself from something that feels impossible to rest inside. Please don’t heap guilt onto yourself for that. You’re trying to cope, and God sees that.

What we do want for you, though, is for that coping to shift from mere distraction into something that genuinely steadies you, and the desire you already feel to be in Scripture more tells us the Spirit is drawing you there. Sometimes the next small step is simply to let a few trusted, prayerful people know what you’re facing, not everyone, just one or two who will pray over you with patience and without drama. This isn’t about chasing a one-time deliverance event and feeling crushed if the oppression returns; it’s about having steady companions who help you keep your hand in Christ’s while the storm rages.

Your fast matters, and so does whatever quiet time you can carve out, even if it’s only five minutes with a psalm while the phone is in another room. The goal isn’t a perfect Bible study routine; it’s simply being with Jesus, who is our peace and our defender.

Jesus, we lift up this weary one to You right now, and we ask for relief, real, felt relief, from the attacks that have made stillness feel impossible. Grant forgiveness where it’s needed, wash away the guilt, and let a deep quiet settle where there’s been nothing but noise and fear. Give courage to reach out for wise, steady prayer support, and let this fast be a time of drawing near to You, not striving. In Your powerful name, amen.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. The soul’s cry for peace amid the storm is never unheard in the courts of Heaven. You speak of sitting still, of the simple grace of reading or writing, and the evil that will not let you rest. The wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace to the rebellious heart, but you, pleading for deliverance, show a heart that longs after God. That longing itself is a whisper of His work within. Peace and rest are two names for a flower which buds on earth, but only found full-blown in Heaven. Yet even the faint perfume of the unopened blossom excites our strong desire. Your desire for peace is that perfume.

Come to the Lord and Giver of peace. Come to Jesus who is our peace. There is a rest to be given now, not after death, not after a season of growth, but a present rest. Rest in the Lord. Lay hold upon the promise, "The Lord will bless His people with peace." But see, this peace comes only to His own people. Are you washed in His blood? Have you come to Him with nothing in your hands, casting yourself at His feet? For there is forgiveness with Him. The text is broad and indefinite, "There is forgiveness." Where God draws no limit, do not you draw any. It is not for this sin or that sin only, but "There is forgiveness." This forgiveness brings a calm so deep, so profound, that it can only be called the peace of God which passes all understanding.

You cry for deliverance from the attacks and from the needless distraction of your phone. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. When you are sure that what you are doing is what He would have you do, there is peace. The rest He gives is not the rest of a dead sea, but the rest of a garden, fruitfulness in stillness. The most splendid victory over the evil one is not found in frantic struggling, but in doing good, in turning the mind to the Book of books until the Law of God is in the heart, influencing the entire man. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. That whisper can drive the grim ogres of despair away into the sea of forgetfulness.

The forgiveness you seek is with Him. He blots out your sins for His own sake, and He will not remember them. It is a divine forgiveness, an eternal forgiveness, complete and surprising. And with it comes the rebuke of the evil. The Lord knows the days of the upright, and they shall not be ashamed in the evil time. He will give you rest from your sorrow and from your fear. Only come and rely upon Jesus, by an act of instantaneous faith, and He will now give you rest. Your present trial is the very place where His peace will shine with a heavenly light, even in the midnight of this world of care. Recline on the promise now, and take your rest.

You cry out for peace and rest, and rightly so, for without these the soul is a storm-tossed sea. But consider what peace truly is. It is not merely the silencing of outward attack or the comfort of a quiet room where you may sit and read. The peace that comes from God is the cutting off of the rebellious part within you, the amputation of the sin that makes war against your soul. When the diseased member is removed, then health returns. When you are at war with the devil, you are at peace with God. Do not seek a false peace that leaves your passions unchallenged; that is the peace of robbers agreeing together.

You ask for forgiveness, and that is the beginning. The gospel is the good tidings of peace, the reconciliation of earth to heaven. But receive that forgiveness not as a mere word, but as the strength to turn from whatever opens the door to these attacks. You speak of being on your phone all day. That is a wilderness of distraction, and the devil loves nothing more than to find you alone and idle. He set upon the first woman when she was apart from her husband; he attacks most boldly when we are isolated, even in a crowd of digital voices. Flock to the brethren, be present in the body, occupy your mind with Scripture and prayer, and you will not leave a handle for the tempter.

The kingdom of God is not meat and drink, nor is it the absence of a phone. It is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. So pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Turn your fast from food into a fast from empty talk and vain images. Let your feet be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; that is, lead a virtuous life, ready to walk in good works. Then the God of love and peace shall be with you. There remains a rest for the people of God, not a rest of idleness, but a rest from sin and the warfare of the passions. Enter into that rest by laying hold of Christ and making no provision for the flesh. Pray without ceasing, but let your prayer be joined with action: flee the occasions of sin, seek the company of the faithful, and fill your mind with the Psalms you speak of. Then you will find that peace which passes understanding, a peace not given by the world but by the Lord who rebukes the winds and the sea, and there is a great calm.
