Prayer

Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray again for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, and a successful fast. Please please please Heavenly Father remove it.

Please forgive me for my sins Father God. Please stop the attacks that are currently happening my Lord and never seem to end. Please also remove the need for me to be on my phone all day. It’s a distraction but one I don’t need. I need to read and study my bible more. I would be so grateful my Lord Jesus. In Jesus Christ precious name I pray. Amen

We hear your cry for deliverance, peace, and rest, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. The Psalms you’ve referenced are powerful declarations of God’s protection, provision, and sovereignty, let us stand on these truths together.

Father in Heaven, we come before You as Your children, acknowledging that You alone are our Shepherd, our Refuge, and our Deliverer. We thank You for the beauty of this day and the breath in our lungs. We declare with the psalmist, "The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3). Lord, we ask that You would indeed restore ###’s soul, bringing deep peace and rest where there has been turmoil and weariness.

We rebuke every attack of the enemy that has been relentless against ###. The Word declares, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). We command every evil scheme, every distraction, and every lie to be broken and removed in the mighty name of Jesus. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment" (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on this promise, Lord, and declare that ### is covered by Your blood and protected by Your power.

Father, we also lift up the struggle with distraction, particularly the pull of the phone and the busyness that keeps ### from deeper communion with You. We pray for discipline and a hunger for Your Word. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Lord, ignite a fire in ###’s heart to seek You above all else, to meditate on Your precepts, and to find joy in Your presence. Help ### to set aside time each day to feast on Scripture, for it is life to those who find it and health to their whole body (Proverbs 4:22).

We also take a moment to address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, who bore our sins on the cross so that we might be forgiven and reconciled to You. If there are any areas where ### has strayed from Your will, we ask for conviction and repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Lord, we pray for a successful fast, that it would be a time of spiritual breakthrough and intimacy with You. May ### experience Your nearness in a tangible way, and may the enemy’s grip be loosened as ### seeks You with all their heart. "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8).

We declare over ### the promises of Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" May ### find shelter in You, Lord, and may every fear and anxiety be replaced with Your perfect peace.

Finally, we thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen ###’s faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in their life.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.[/B][/B][/B][/B][/B][/B][/B][/B][/B][/B][/B][/B]

Thank you for sharing this with us. We hear the weight in your words, the unrelenting nature of the attacks, the longing for peace, and the frustration of being pulled toward your phone when you truly want more time in Scripture. That’s real, and we’re standing with you.

When the enemy keeps us glued to a screen, it’s often not about the phone itself but about what it displaces, quiet, a focused mind, the Word that strengthens us. You’ve already put your finger on it: the desire to read and study your Bible more is a holy one, and even naming it is a sign that God is stirring something in you.

A small, concrete step that might help: set a time, even just ten or fifteen minutes, where you put the phone in another room and open to one of those Psalms you love. Don’t pressure yourself to study deeply; simply read slowly, maybe aloud, letting the words sink in. You could start with Psalm 34 or 91, right where you are. That act of turning away from the distraction, even briefly, can be a quiet act of defiance against the attacks, a way of anchoring yourself in truth when everything feels chaotic.

We also want to gently encourage you not to go through the fast alone in spirit, if there’s a trusted mature believer you can share your struggle with, their prayer and presence can make a real difference. Fasting can be more focused when we’re not isolated.

Lord Jesus, we bring our friend before You now, worn down by relentless spiritual assault. We ask You to rebuke the enemy and command this evil to depart. Surround them with Your peace that defies circumstances, grant real rest, and wash over them with the certainty of Your forgiveness. Break the grip of the phone distraction, and stir a renewed hunger for Your Word. Give them strength for the fast and, above all, a deep sense of Your nearness. In Your mighty name, Amen.

You cry to the Lord for deliverance, peace, and rest, and it is well that your heart has fled to the Psalms. There you find the Shepherd who makes you to lie down in green pastures, the angel of the Lord encamping round about them that fear Him, the shadow of the Almighty in whose secret place you may abide, and the Keeper of Israel who neither slumbers nor sleeps. Yet I would have you seek not merely a removal of trouble, but that peace which is a blessing from the Lord, the peace that passes all understanding, bought with the blood of Jesus, a peace that whispers within even when sorrows surge round about you. Many cry “Peace, peace,” when there is no peace; but he whose mind is stayed on Jehovah, because he trusts in Him, shall know perfect peace indeed.

You ask for forgiveness of sins. It is freely given to all who rest in Christ, for God has found a ransom and has delivered you from the pit. But know this: deliverance from the guilt of sin is as much His work as deliverance from its power. If He rebukes the evil enemy, look not to your own strength. The quiet heart that trusts the atoning blood is the one that overcomes. Return not evil for evil in your thoughts, nor let the clamour of the world rob you of rest. The devil’s peace keeps conscience still while sin holds sway; Christ’s peace makes you war against every evil and find rest only in doing His will. Overcome the evil by good, when you are tempted to take up the distractions of your phone, take up the book of God instead. You say you desire to study the Scriptures more; this is a holy yearning. The noise of the world is like the archers of discord from which He has delivered us. Let your fasting become a turning away from trifles to feast upon the living Word. In that sacred occupation you will find the peace that remains when the screens grow dim.

Remember that affliction and deliverance both serve to make us declare the works of the Lord. You shall not die but live, and tell of what He has done for your soul. The Lord has chastened you, but He has not given you over to death. He will rebuke the oppressor, for the blood of the Lamb has conquered. Hold your peace, and He shall teach you wisdom. In Jesus Christ, you are safe; He has vanquished death and all its powers. Earth’s struggles soon shall cease, and He calls you to heaven’s perfect peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
