Prayer
Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray again for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, and a successful fast. Please please please Heavenly Father remove it.

The terrible thing now is this evil doesn’t seem to be afraid of hearing the name of Jesus. The attacks only get worse when I call on Jesus name. I would just love to be able to sit in peace again Jesus. I see pictures of people just sitting and reading a book, writing or doing something simple. With these evil attacks I don’t have that right because it’s hard to stay still with the way it attacks. Please also forgive me for my sins. Please stop the attacks that are currently happening my Lord and never seem to end. Please also remove the need for me to be on my phone all day. It’s a distraction but one I don’t need. I need to read and study my bible more. I would be so grateful my Lord Jesus. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We hear your cry for deliverance, peace, and rest, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God. Your struggle is real, and the enemy’s relentless attacks are not to be taken lightly, but we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The fact that the evil you face seems to escalate when you call on the name of Jesus is a tactic of the enemy to discourage you, but we rebuke that lie in the mighty name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is not just a word; it is power, authority, and victory. The demons tremble at His name (James 2:19), and we command every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression to flee from you now in Jesus’ name!

You mentioned that the attacks do not seem afraid of hearing the name of Jesus, but Scripture is clear: "At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth" (Philippians 2:10). The enemy may resist, but he must submit to the authority of Christ. Do not be dismayed by his temporary defiance, it is a sign of his impending defeat. We pray that the Lord would open your eyes to see the spiritual battle raging around you and to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). You are not fighting alone; the Lord of Hosts is your defender, and His angels are encamped around you (Psalm 34:7).

We also lift up your desire for peace and stillness. The enemy seeks to keep you in a state of unrest, but Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27). We pray that the Lord would grant you moments of quiet, where you can sit in His presence, read His Word, and be refreshed. Your longing to study the Bible more is a holy desire, and we encourage you to press into that. The Word of God is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105), and it is one of the most powerful weapons against the enemy’s attacks.

We also address your struggle with distraction, particularly the pull of your phone. The enemy often uses distractions to keep us from the things that truly matter, prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with God. We pray that the Lord would break this cycle and help you prioritize time in His presence. Set boundaries, delete apps if necessary, and fill your mind with that which is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). The Lord is calling you to a deeper walk with Him, and we believe He will honor your desire to seek Him wholeheartedly.

You asked for forgiveness of your sins, and we rejoice that through Jesus Christ, you have been forgiven. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Do not carry the weight of guilt or shame, for Christ has already borne it on the cross. However, if there are areas of your life where sin has given the enemy a foothold, we encourage you to repent and turn away from those things. The enemy cannot torment a child of God who is walking in obedience and righteousness (1 John 5:18).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, oppression, and distraction that is plaguing them. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Grant them moments of stillness where they can rest in Your presence, free from the enemy’s attacks. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2).

We pray for their fast, Lord. May it be a time of drawing closer to You, of seeking Your face, and of breaking every chain that binds them. We ask that You would cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to prioritize time in Your Word and in prayer, and remove every distraction that keeps them from You.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust that You are working on their behalf, even when they cannot see it. Give them the strength to endure and the faith to believe that victory is theirs in Christ Jesus. We declare that the enemy’s attacks will not prevail, for the Lord is their light and their salvation, whom shall they fear? (Psalm 27:1).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Hold fast to the truth that God is fighting for you. The enemy’s attacks are a sign of his desperation, not his strength. Keep pressing into the Lord, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this battle, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Keep calling on the name of Jesus, for His name is above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow. Victory is yours in Christ!

It’s deeply wearing to feel like you can’t sit still in peace, especially when you’re longing to do something as simple and good as reading or writing. We hear how much you want rest, and we’ve been praying alongside you.

When the attacks seem to intensify even as you call on Jesus, that can be disorienting and lonely. But it doesn’t mean He isn’t with you or that His name has lost power. Sometimes the enemy pushes back hardest when we’re pressing in, and sometimes our own nervous system is so exhausted that spiritual battle and anxiety get tangled together. Either way, you don’t have to sort it out alone.

We’d encourage you to reach out to a trusted pastor or a mature prayer team in person, people who can pray with you and help carry this weight. The kind of deliverance and peace you’re seeking often comes best in the steady presence of other believers who will stand with you without rushing or sensationalizing things.

For the phone distraction: maybe set a small, gentle goal. Just a few minutes today, no phone in sight, reading one of those Psalms you mentioned, out loud, deliberately, as an act of defiance against the agitation. Even that tiny act of choosing stillness can be a victory.

You asked for forgiveness too. Please know that in Jesus, you are already forgiven. That doesn’t depend on how you feel; it rests on what He did. You can stop and simply receive that.

As you fast, be wise about your health, because physical depletion can make everything feel worse. You’re not failing if you need to adjust things.

Jesus, we ask You to quiet the storm around this child of Yours. Let Your peace, which isn’t a fragile feeling but a settled reality, guard their heart and mind. Break the harassment, and let them find moments of real rest today, even a few minutes where they can just breathe and know You’re near. Give them wisdom for the next step, and surround them with people who will help. In Your name, amen.

You long for peace, for the simple quiet of sitting with a book or pen in hand, but the evil one robs you of stillness. He roars when the name of Jesus is upon your lips, for that Name is his overthrow, and in his fury he redoubles his assaults. But think on this: the devils could not press beyond the feet of Jesus. When the man of the Gadarenes was delivered, he was found sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed, and in his right mind. There the evil spirits dared not follow, for Christ is the terror of hell. It is at His feet you find rest, not by the absence of the battle, but by the presence of the Victor.

Come, then, and sit there now. Not by feeling, but by faith. Jesus says, “Come unto Me, and I will give you rest.” It is a present rest, given in the coming. Lean your whole weight upon Him, His atoning blood, His finished work, and in that moment peace is yours, even while the storm still rages. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. Do not wait to feel the peace; lay hold of the promise, and peace will follow as surely as the sun follows the dawn.

You ask forgiveness. He rent the veil that you might boldly approach the throne. The ransom is found, the Lamb is slain, and He will in no wise cast out those who come. Trust Him now for full pardon, and let no accusing voice drive you from the mercy seat.

The enemy would keep you distracted, chained to the restless flicker of your phone, that you might not abide in the Word. But to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Set your heart to study the Scriptures, to seek His face in the closet, and you shall find that quietness of soul which the world cannot give. The Lord knows the days of the upright; they shall not be ashamed in the evil time. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholdeth him with His hand.

Rest in the Lord. Commit your way unto Him. He shall bring forth your deliverance as the light. Soon earth’s struggles shall cease, and Jesus will call you to heaven’s perfect peace. Until then, hide yourself in the cleft of the Rock, where no evil can reach.

The enemy’s rage when you call upon the name of Jesus is not a sign of weakness in that holy name, but of its terror to him. Do not be deceived: the sick man often cries out most when the physician’s knife draws near to cut out the disease. The evil one would not redouble his attacks unless he feared losing his hold. Persist, then, all the more. The name that shakes hell is your shield; lift it up with a steady heart, not as one testing whether it works, but as one who knows it already has.

Consider what true peace is. Peace is not the quiet of a house where the enemy lodges unopposed. When the physician amputates the incurable part, the body cries out, but health follows. So it is with the soul. The Lord Himself said He came not to send peace on earth but a sword, to divide a man from his own household, that is, from every sin and evil alliance. The peace that merely agrees with the adversary brings ruin; the good discord that separates you from him brings life. So do not wish for a peace that leaves the evil untouched. Seek the peace that comes after victory, the peace of Christ that passes understanding, which the world cannot give.

Yet I hear your longing simply to sit and read, to be still and know that He is God. That longing is itself a prayer, a holy desire. The attacks that make stillness impossible are meant to rob you of that very rest which remains for the people of God. But remember, the Promised Land was entered only after warfare. The sabbath rest is for those who have not hardened their hearts but endured the wilderness. Do not harden your heart now by despairing. This trial is the very path to the peace you seek. God permits these assaults so that you may learn to fight and, having fought, to rest in His love forever.

You pray for deliverance, and rightly so. But do not be alone in your struggle. The devil set upon the first woman when she was apart from her husband; he seeks out the solitary to strike. Therefore, flee to the assembly of the faithful. When you are with others and banded together in the Church, he is not so bold. The prayers of the brethren, the reading of the Scriptures together, the very presence of the body of Christ, these are bulwarks against the evil one. That desire to put aside your phone and take up your Bible is the voice of the Spirit within you. Obey it, but do so in fellowship when you can, and with the prayers of the saints supporting you.

The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, nor the mere outward form of devotion, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Righteousness first, then peace. So strive after holiness, for without it no one will see the Lord. Flee every sin, confess it, and receive the forgiveness you seek. But then follow peace with all, and especially within your own heart. Do not give place to the enemy’s taunts that your sins are too great. The God of love and peace will be with you if you are of one mind with His Church and live in the peace that comes from a pure heart. He delights to show mercy, and where sin abounds, grace abounds much more.

You fast, and you call upon the Lord with the Psalms. That is well. Let your feet be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. That is, take up a most virtuous life, for that prepares the way for God to act. The war you wage against the devil puts an end to the war between you and God. You are at peace with Him through Christ if you hold fast. Let nothing move you from this: the victory is already won, the good news is proclaimed. You are not fighting for an uncertain outcome but standing in a triumph assured by the Cross.

Therefore, when the attacks surge, do not cease to say, “Jesus.” Speak it not as a talisman tested but as the name of your Lord, who has already bound the strong man. Say it with love, with trust, with the boldness of a child calling to his Father. The evil one may rage, but he must flee, for he cannot endure the presence that name brings. Say it in the company of the angels who watch over you, as many as the believers have for their guardians. And ask for the Angel of Peace, that peace which is the mother of all good things, the foundation of joy. For the peacemakers are called sons of God, and those who make disturbance are sons of the devil. So by persisting in calling on Jesus, you are not a maker of disturbance but a peacemaker waging the one war that leads to eternal peace.

May the God of love and peace be with you, removing every evil, and may the rest that remains for the people of God soon be yours in full measure. Hold fast. You are not alone.
