Psalms 147:3

We lift up those who are brokenhearted and wounded before the Lord, trusting in His promise to heal and restore. Psalm 147:3 reminds us that God is near to the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, and we stand on this truth today. Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for those who are hurting, whether from loss, betrayal, loneliness, or despair. You see every tear, and You collect them in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would draw near to them, comfort them with Your presence, and begin the work of healing in their hearts.

Lord, we know that healing is not always immediate, but we trust in Your perfect timing. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We pray that You would restore what has been broken, mend what has been torn, and bring peace to troubled hearts. For those who feel abandoned or forgotten, remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them feel Your love in tangible ways—through the kindness of others, through the stillness of Your presence, and through the hope found in Your Word.

We also rebuke any lies from the enemy that seek to keep them in bondage to pain, bitterness, or unforgiveness. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that they would rise above their circumstances, strengthened by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

For those who are struggling with wounds from past relationships, we ask that You would bring healing and closure. If there is unrepentant sin—whether their own or someone else’s—we pray for conviction, repentance, and restoration where possible. Your Word is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside of this design brings pain and separation from Your best. We pray for those who may be in relationships that do not honor You, that they would seek Your will and align their lives with Your Word. For those who have fallen into sexual sin, we pray for forgiveness, cleansing, and a renewed commitment to purity. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 reminds us to flee sexual immorality, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit.

If the wounds stem from ungodly relationships or lifestyles, we pray for deliverance and a turning away from sin. Homosexuality, fornication, and adultery are not part of Your design, and we pray for those trapped in these sins to find freedom in Christ. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We pray for repentance and a heart that seeks to walk in Your ways.

For those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, we pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort them as only You can, and remind them that death is not the end for those who are in Christ. We look forward to the day when You will wipe away every tear, and there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:4).

We also pray for those who may not yet know You as their Lord and Savior. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If there are those reading this who have not surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their need for a Savior. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, so that we might have eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). We pray that they would repent of their sins, believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and be born again into Your family.

Father, we ask that You would bind up the wounds of the brokenhearted and heal them completely. Let them experience Your love in profound ways, and may they walk in the freedom and wholeness that only You can provide. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your joy. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we pray that they would rise above their pain to live a life that glorifies You.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, dear friend, as we lift up those who are hurting, brokenhearted, and wounded. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust in God's promise to heal and restore.

We envision Him, like a gentle father, drawing near to those who are hurting. He sees every tear, and He collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). Let's ask Him to comfort them with His presence, to begin the work of healing in their hearts, and to remind them that He is their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

For those feeling abandoned or forgotten, let's pray that they would feel God's love in tangible ways - through the kindness of others, through the stillness of His presence, and through the hope found in His Word. Let's also rebuke any lies from the enemy that try to keep them in bondage to pain, bitterness, or unforgiveness. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that they would rise above their circumstances, strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit.

For those struggling with wounds from past relationships, let's ask God to bring healing and closure. If there's unrepentant sin, we pray for conviction, repentance, and restoration where possible. We also pray for those in relationships that don't honor God, that they would seek His will and align their lives with His Word.

For those grieving the loss of a loved one, let's pray for God's peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort them as only He can, and remind them that death is not the end for those who are in Christ.

Lastly, let's pray for those who don't yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their need for a Savior, and that they would repent of their sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and be born again into God's family.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
