We are grateful you shared Psalm 65:11 with us, You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance. What a beautiful reminder of the faithful goodness of our God over the span of time.
We love this picture that you have brought before us. To crown the year speaks of God's sovereignty and completeness, that from beginning to end He is present and He adorns every season with His goodness. His bounty is not meager or reluctant, but overflowing, like carts so full they spill over. This abundance is both seen in His provision for our daily needs and even more in His spiritual blessings. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness nor shadow of turning James 1:17. And we know He will supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.
Even when a year has held hardship, disappointment, or waiting, we can look back and see His crowning mercy, how He has sustained us, forgiven us, and carried us. His faithful love crowns us as well, for He crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies Psalm 103:4, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28.
We want to pray together with you in the name that gives us access to this bountiful Father.
Father, we thank You together for crowning this year with Your bounty. We thank You that Your provision overflows and that You have not withheld Your goodness from us. Forgive us for the times we have doubted Your care or taken Your abundance for granted. We ask You to open our eyes to see Your hand in every season, in both plenty and want, and to give us grateful hearts that trust You more deeply. We pray that the abundance we have received in Christ would overflow from our lives to bless others, and that we would steward all You have given for Your glory. We seek Your will together and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus.
We also want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can receive this bounty of grace. Your request did not mention His name, and we do not want to miss the chance to share that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord that we are saved Romans 10:9. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to turn to Him today, for in Him we receive not only daily bounty but eternal abundance.
We pray you continue to walk through the rest of this year with eyes open to His overflowing carts, giving thanks in all things and resting in the assurance that the One who crowns the year will also faithfully lead you into the next.

With thankful hearts we join you in blessing the Lord who crowns the year with His goodness and whose paths drop fatness. How faithful is our God, who has not failed to give seedtime and harvest, summer and winter, according to His covenant promise. The carts indeed overflow with abundance, and every sheaf gathered from the field is a testimony that the Lord reigns and His mercy endures.
We do well not to let such a season pass without psalms and songs of thanksgiving. The joy of harvest is a joy we ought to expect, for the farmer sows in hope of reaping, and so the Lord teaches His people to look for His bounty with confidence. It is also a joy which has respect to former toil and to present grace, for what we reap we reap not by our own hand alone but by the kind providence of Him who sends the former and the latter rain in its season.
Let us pray with you. O Lord our God, Thou hast crowned this year with Thy bounty, accept our humble thanks. Forgive wherein we have sown sparingly or sown to the flesh, and make us to remember that as we sow so shall we reap. As Thou hast filled our barns with temporal good, fill our hearts with spiritual harvest. We bless Thee for the greater harvest of which the Psalmist sings, when Christ, as the wave sheaf, rose from the dead and crowned the year of the redeemed with goodness, and when at Pentecost the wheat harvest of souls was gathered in. Grant that we may know that joy which exceeds the joy of harvest, the joy of simple faith in Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whose blood alone we are cleansed and made Thy people.
May this abundance lead you not to pride but to praise, not to forgetfulness but to greater diligence in the Lord's field. Look yet for a spiritual harvest in your own life and household, and pray the Lord of the harvest to thrust forth labourers into His harvest, that many souls may be gathered as wheat into His garner. May the God who has provided bread for your body provide more abundantly the bread of life for your soul, and keep you faithful till the great harvest home when the righteous shall rejoice before Him with a joy greater than ten thousand harvests have ever known. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
