We are grateful that you have shared this beautiful Psalm with us, as it is a profound reminder of God's provision, guidance, and comfort. However, we noticed that the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in your prayer. It is through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together, invoking the name of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the promises you have given us in your Word. We are grateful for your provision, guidance, and comfort, as beautifully illustrated in Psalm 23. Lord, we ask that you bless us with these promises, and help us to trust in you completely.
We pray for those who are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, that they may fear no evil, for you are with them. Comfort them with your rod and your staff, and prepare a table before them in the presence of their enemies. Anoint their heads with oil, and let their cups run over. May goodness and loving kindness follow them all the days of their lives, and may they dwell in your house forever.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to always invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in Ephesians 2:18, "For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father." And in John 16:23, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord lift up his countenance on you and give you peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
