The LORD will fulfill [his purpose] for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever -- do not abandon the works of your hands.

Psalm 138:8 (NIV)

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

First there is conviction: the LORD will finish his work in us! (cf. Phil. 1:6). Second, there is declaration: the LORD's love endures and doesn't fail (cf. 1 Cor. 13:8). Finally, there is supplication: O Lord, don't forget me, your creation (cf. Ps. 139:13-16). What beautiful balance for our walk with the Lord.My Prayer...

Heavenly Father and LORD of all things, I am confident that you will accomplish your will and purpose in me. Seeing how you loved and worked through the centuries with the everyday people I find in Scripture, I know your love will last long after I am gone from this place. However, dear LORD, I do face some struggles and difficulties and I ask you to please intervene with your grace and power in my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Lord, I pray You fill me with Your purpose for my life today, help me stay close to You today, like a child putting my hand in Your Hand. Your love is steadfast, You will not leave the works of Your hands. Amen

Lord, help me. I am broken. But I thank You for being there to lift me up. In Jesus' name. Amen

Father, You have the reigns and controls over my life. Guide and direct my steps so that my journey is a reflection of Your purpose for my life. I thank You for the many blessings I have received and pray Your continued guidance in the matter of the estate. I know the answer lies in You. I pray for Your strength and spirit to lead me forward. In Jesus' name, I give You all glory, honor and praise. Amen.
