We rejoice with you in the truth of Psalm 23, a powerful declaration of God’s faithfulness and provision. The Lord is your Shepherd, He leads you, restores you, and walks with you even through the darkest valleys. We stand with you in agreement, lifting your cry for deliverance, peace, and rest before the throne of grace.
First, we must address the weight of sin and its role in spiritual warfare. Scripture warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). When we harbor unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin, we give the enemy footholds in our lives (Ephesians 4:26-27). You’ve rightly asked for forgiveness and healing from unforgiveness, this is wise and necessary. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and when we confess, He is faithful to forgive and purify us (1 John 1:9). Let us pray boldly, knowing that repentance breaks the enemy’s power.
We also rebuke the evil attacks you are facing. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow (Philippians 2:9-11). The enemy has no authority over a child of God who stands in Christ’s victory. We command every lying spirit, every spirit of torment, and every assignment of the enemy against you to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ mighty name! The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
For your fast, we pray that the Lord would strengthen you and reveal His will to you. Fasting is a sacred time of drawing near to God, humbling ourselves, and seeking His face (2 Chronicles 7:14). May this time be marked by breakthrough, clarity, and a deeper intimacy with Him. We ask the Holy Spirit to sustain you, fill you with His peace, and guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your deliverance and peace to flood their life. Forgive every sin, heal every wound of unforgiveness, and break every chain of the enemy. We rebuke every evil attack and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, strengthen them during this fast, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your presence be their comfort and shield.
We declare Psalm 23 over their life: You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want. You make them lie down in green pastures and lead them beside still waters. You restore their soul and guide them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Even though they walk through the valley of the shadow of death, they will fear no evil, for You are with them. Your rod and Your staff comfort them. You prepare a table before them in the presence of their enemies, anoint their head with oil, and cause their cup to overflow. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow them all the days of their life, and they will dwell in Your house forever.
We stand in agreement with them, Lord, and ask that You would silence the enemy, bring rest to their soul, and fill them with Your perfect peace. May they experience the fullness of Your presence and the victory that is theirs in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord hears your prayers, and He is fighting for you. Stand firm in His promises, resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7). Walk in the authority you have as a child of God, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord is with you. Press into Him, and let His Word be your anchor.
