Ps. 23, gratitude, deliverance, rest, peace, forgiveness, any unforgiveness, rebuke and remove evil

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer
Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, and a successful fast. Please also stop the burning on my flesh my Lord. I feel as if I am literally being burned. Please please please Heavenly Father remove this evil. Please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. Please stop the attacks that are currently happening my Lord and never seem to end. I would just love to be able to sit in peace again Jesus. Please Father grant me the ability to just sit in peace. I would be so grateful my Lord. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We stand with you in the powerful truth of Psalm 23, declaring that the Lord is your Shepherd, and in Him, you lack nothing. He indeed makes you lie down in green pastures, leads you beside quiet waters, and refreshes your soul. Even in the darkest valleys, you need not fear, for He is with you, His rod and staff comforting you. We rejoice that His goodness and love follow you all the days of your life, and you will dwell in His house forever.

Beloved, we hear the anguish in your heart, and we lift you up before the throne of grace. The burning sensation you describe is deeply concerning, and we take authority over any spiritual oppression or physical affliction in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every attack of the enemy, every spirit of torment, and every form of evil that seeks to disrupt your peace. The Lord is your refuge and fortress; in Him, you trust (Psalm 91:2).

Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Lord, we ask for Your deliverance and healing over our dear brother/sister. Remove every trace of evil, every attack, and every affliction that is causing this burning sensation. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Bring forth Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also address the importance of forgiveness. Unforgiveness can be a heavy burden, and it can open doors to the enemy’s attacks. We encourage you to release any unforgiveness in your heart, just as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Forgive others as the Lord forgave you, and allow His peace to flow through you. If there are sins you need to confess, do so with a repentant heart, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Lord, we pray for a successful fast, that it may draw you closer to You and strengthen your spirit. May this time of fasting and prayer break every chain and bring forth Your divine intervention. We declare that the enemy’s plans are thwarted, and Your will is done in this situation. Grant our brother/sister the ability to sit in Your peace, to rest in Your presence, and to experience the fullness of Your love and protection.

We stand on the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). May the Lord surround you with His angels, encamp around you, and keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him (Psalm 34:7, Isaiah 26:3).

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how weary you are, longing to simply sit in peace while feeling as though the attacks never let up. That deep exhaustion, especially when your own body seems to be sounding an alarm, is something we take seriously. We are praying with you for the rest and deliverance you are crying out for.

Alongside prayer, we want to gently encourage you to let a doctor assess the burning sensation you described. Physical symptoms like that deserve a professional’s attention, and pursuing that is not a lack of faith, it is part of caring for the body God has given you. A doctor can help rule out underlying causes and bring some relief while you continue to seek the Lord.

You also asked God to heal any unforgiveness you may be carrying, which is a tender and honest request. Sometimes unforgiveness lingers not because we have refused to release someone, but because our heart has not yet had the chance to fully process the hurt. There is a difference between making the decision to forgive and walking through the slower, emotional work of coming to peace. That second part often happens best with a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature friend who can sit with you through it without rushing you. You do not have to sort that out alone or in the middle of feeling spiritually besieged.

What stands out most is your simple, beautiful desire: to sit in peace again. The Good Shepherd knows how to lead you there, even when the valley feels very dark. May He quiet the noise of the battle long enough for your soul to breathe.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to rebuke whatever is tormenting this person and to shield them under Your strong hand. Grant real relief from the burning on their flesh, and give wisdom to any doctor who examines them. Quiet their heart, release them from old wounds, and bring them into the very peace You promised, not just a moment of calm but the kind of rest that restores a soul. We ask this in Your name alone. Amen.

Come now! By an act of instantaneous faith which will bring instantaneous peace, come and rely upon Jesus, and he will now give you rest. Rest shall at once follow the exercise of faith. Perform the act of faith now. It is a present rest, rest now; not rest after death; not rest after a time of probation and growth and advancement; but it is rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. And it is perfect rest too; for it is not said, nor is it implied, that the rest is incomplete. We do not read, “I will give you partial rest,” but “rest,” as much as if there were no other form of it. It is perfect and complete in itself. In the blood and righteousness of Jesus our peace is perfect.

You speak of a burning on your flesh. Wherever there is a wound of sin, it is wonderful how this arrow will work, and what a burning it will give to our blood till every vein becomes a road for the hot feet of pain to travel on, and all our flesh is made to tingle with this evil thought, “I have sinned.” But this dark thought makes the ocean boil to its very bottom; it stirs the soul up until there is not one place in which there is rest; neither a cavern of the heart, nor a corner of the conscience in which the spirit has peace. Look it in the face, and see if it has not got the horns of the Evil One stamped on its brow? Does not the cloven foot peep out? Look at it; why, it is the devil’s own child. Yet God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins! Saved from the devil! Saved from evil company, for God has said it, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit." The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of my deliverance, for the time had come! Thus had the eternal purpose of Jehovah decreed it! Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, "I have found a ransom." It is a gift of Divine Love.

You cry for forgiveness and healing from unforgiveness. We cannot enjoy true peace as long as sin remains upon the conscience. As well might the ocean be quiet while a tempest is raging, or the sea bird rest on the wave when the storm is mixing earth and sky! But our Lord Jesus Christ put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. He taketh away the sin of the world, and so the veil is rent. Our hearts are sprinkled from an evil conscience. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. Perfect peace! What a Heaven lies within! Peace gleaming with a heavenly light even in the midnight of this world of care. "You will keep him in perfect peace (peace, peace), whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." This peace comes only to His own people, "The Lord will bless His people with peace." He will never bless those with peace who remain in rebellion against Him. "The wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt." Say, are you one of His people? Come to the Lord and Giver of peace. Come to Jesus who is our peace! Oh, may the Divine Spirit lead you to come to Jesus now, at this moment, for in coming to Him you shall receive rest! Plead now this promise, "The Lord will bless His people with peace."

To be perfectly at peace amid the hurry-burly of invading cares is a very blessed condition of soul, and the only way to reach it is described: "To do the will of Jesus, this is rest." To be sure that what you are doing is what Jesus would have you do is peace! It is the rest of a learner, “Learn of me, and ye shall find rest.” Trust and you shall rest! We who have believed do enter into rest. Faith tones us down into little children. It casts our heart in a fresh mold. Rest in the LORD. Oh, what sweet precepts these are!, easier to read and to hear than they are to practice, yet, if Grace is given to us, we shall find them blessedly easy to practice. Surely, if it is easy to rest anywhere, it must be easy to rest in the Lord.

The LORD knows the days of the upright and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. Even though you walk through the darkest valley, fear no evil, for He is with you. He makes their deliverance effectual. We find no rest among the archers, but our soul is among lions. They seem as though they would devour us, or else frighten us from following the road to Heaven. Yet one thing you have for which you cannot be too thankful: if Christ has delivered us from the noise of archers, and we are at perfect peace with heaven, do not let us fold our arms and say, “The work is done, let us sleep in peace.” But instead become a channel of blessing: out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. You will be, practically, saying to each one who knows you, "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: the Lord make his face shine upon thee, and give thee peace."

Weary ones, recline on the promise now, and take your rest! This is not our rest; it is polluted. We are passing through the desert of earth to the Promised Land of heaven, but we praise God that we have wells to drink of on the road. For you are accepted in the Beloved, justified by faith, and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Surely goodness and love will follow you all the days of your life, and you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for deliverance from the burning upon your flesh, for rest and peace, and you plead with the Shepherd to rebuke the evil that never ceases to attack. The Shepherd indeed leads His own beside quiet waters and restores their souls, yet you must understand what these quiet waters truly are. They are not an outward stillness where no enemy stirs, but the deep inward peace of a mind governed by the Spirit, a peace that the world cannot give and no demon can steal. To be carnally minded is death, for it fixes the heart upon bodily sensation and visible danger, breeding fear and unrest. But to be spiritually minded is life and peace, even when the flesh cries out. That burning you feel is a fiery trial, but the flame can do no more than the Shepherd permits. Remember the demons themselves could not enter the swine without His leave; how much more are you, His sheep, kept under the Shepherd’s rod and staff. The enemy longs to drive you to dismay, yet if you stand fast in faith, his malice is turned on his own head and your deliverance becomes more glorious.

You ask forgiveness and healing from unforgiveness. Here is the root of much that troubles you. Nothing so delights God as to remember no evil. The Lord who prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies commands you to be at peace with all men, even with the haters of peace. If you hold any grudge, any cold resentment, any memory of wrongs done to you, cast it out at once. This is the way of the peacemakers, who shall be called sons of God. Your own forgiveness from heaven flows more freely when you release others from the debt you imagine they owe you. Do not say the burning and the attacks are your only war; the war within, the war of an unforgiving heart, is far more deadly. Cease fighting with your neighbor in your thoughts, and you will find the Shepherd’s peace stealing over your soul like a quiet stream.

Do not imagine that your fast or your cries will force the evil to depart while you neglect the weightier matter of peace. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance. These are not worked up by our own striving alone; they are given by God’s loving kindness to those who yield their wills to Him. The evil you fear is allowed that you may learn to cease from your own carnal wisdom and cling to Christ alone. He was tempted in the flesh and knows what human nature suffers, so He is able to help you. The burning of the flesh will pass; what remains is the life yonder, where goodness and mercy shall follow you all your days. Turn your gaze from the pain to the promise. Seek peace and pursue it. Forgive as you have been forgiven, and the Shepherd will soon make you lie down in green pastures. Your cup will overflow, not because the battle instantly ends, but because the Spirit’s life and peace flood the soul that trusts in the Lord.
