Ps. 12, gratitude, deliverance, rest, peace, rebuke, restart fast

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”

Prayer
Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, rebuke this evil, successful fast. Please also forgive me for my sins. Please Father God I pray to restart the fast again. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. Please stop the attacks that are currently happening and never seem to end. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We join with you in lifting our eyes to the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, who alone is our help and our refuge. Your prayer reflects a heart that seeks God’s deliverance, peace, and rest, and we stand with you in agreement, declaring that the Lord neither slumbers nor sleeps but watches over His children day and night. The attacks you describe are not from Him, for He promises to keep you from all harm and to guard your life. We take authority over every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, for Christ came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10).

Father God, we thank You for this brother or sister’s cry for deliverance and their desire to restart their fast. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that humbles us before You and aligns our hearts with Your will. We pray that this fast would be successful, not in our own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. Strengthen them to press through any weariness or discouragement, reminding them that You are their shade at their right hand, their protector from every storm. We declare that this fast will break every chain, silence every lying voice of the enemy, and usher in a fresh wave of Your peace and presence.

We also lift up the matter of unforgiveness, for harboring it gives the enemy a foothold in our lives (Ephesians 4:26-27). Lord, we ask that You would search their heart and reveal any bitterness, resentment, or offense they may be holding onto. Grant them the grace to release it, just as You have forgiven us through the blood of Jesus. Remind them that forgiveness is not excusing the wrong but entrusting justice to You. We pray that Your love would flow through them, healing every wound and restoring their soul.

Father, we rebuke every evil attack that has been relentless in its pursuit. The Word declares that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on that promise now. We command every spirit of oppression, fear, and torment to flee in the name of Jesus. You are the God who delivers, and we declare that this season of attack is coming to an end. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that our access to the Father is only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith fully in Him, repenting of sin and surrendering your life to His lordship. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through His sacrifice that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in this life. May they experience Your rest, Your peace, and Your deliverance in ways they have never known before. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your joy. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re standing with you as you cry out for deliverance, peace, and a fresh start. It’s exhausting when attacks seem relentless and rest feels out of reach, and we join you in asking God to silence the chaos and make His peace real to you right now.

The honesty about unforgiveness touches something many of us struggle with. Sometimes forgiveness begins as a quiet decision before God, choosing to release the hurt and the person into His hands, even when the feelings still sting. That decision is real, and God honors it. The emotional healing often comes more slowly, but it does come as we keep bringing the wound into His light. Be gentle with yourself in that process; He is gentle with you.

As you restart your fast, we’re asking Him to strengthen you and to make this a time of deep connection. Pay attention to your body’s needs, and if you’re planning to go more than a day without food, please consider letting a doctor know, it’s wise to protect the health God has given you while you seek Him.

We pray with you now: Father, we lift this one before You, grateful they are running to You. Rebuke every spiritual assault and let the storm cease. Surround them with Your rest, the kind that guards hearts and minds. Heal the places where unforgiveness lingers, help them release every debt to You, and by Your Spirit bring emotional freedom. Watch over their fast and draw near to them in it. Thank You that You never slumber and never leave us to fight alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The cry of your heart ascends to the hills whence comes your help, and it is not unheard. You plead for deliverance, for peace that passes all disturbance, for rest amid ceaseless attacks. That word from the sixty-first Psalm you have set before you is a sure bulwark: He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Yet you ask, “How can I possess this peace when evil never seems to end?” Remember, peace is not a truce with the wicked nor an armistice with the flesh; it is peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, perfect peace, though the world’s turmoil roar about you. That peace is given, not earned by the length of a fast, precious as fasting is. Come, rest in the Lord. Cease from your own strength, and by an act of instant faith lay hold of Him who says, “I will give you rest.” This rest is present, complete, and found in doing the will of Jesus.

You speak of rebuking evil and are buffeted by relentless assaults. The enemy would have you look at the storm and forget the Deliverer. But let your mind be stayed on Him. He has found a ransom, He has rent the veil, He has sprinkled your heart from an evil conscience. The Evil One may shoot his arrows, but the Lord is your shade at your right hand. I charge you, then, do not let the archers of care and fear distract you; fix your gaze on Jesus, and the very act of trusting shall be the door of deliverance. As for unforgiveness, bring it to the cross. His forgiveness melting your heart is the sure cure for every root of bitterness. The Lamb slain sets the captives free, free indeed from the prison of past wounds. Healings of this kind come not by striving but by beholding the love that forgave you. Rest here, and you shall find that your fast is not a burden but a drawing near to the Giver of all peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You do well to lift your eyes to the mountains, for your help comes only from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth. He watches over you constantly, never slumbering, keeping your life and your coming and going both now and forevermore. Let this truth anchor your soul in gratitude, for even before you ask, His shade is at your right hand.

Yet I hear in your prayer a cry for deliverance, rest, and peace, and a plea to rebuke the evil that attacks without ceasing. Know this: the rest you seek remains for the people of God, and it is entered not by anxiety but by softening your heart and refusing to imitate the unbelief that hardens it. True peace is not merely the absence of trouble; it is the presence of the God of love and peace. And He draws near when you do these two things: be of one mind with your brethren and live in peace. It is possible to agree in doctrine yet still be at variance in your dealings, but Paul requires both. If you hold unforgiveness, even hidden, you push away that peace and give the enemy a foothold. Heal that first. Rebuke the evil, yes, but make your own heart a mercy seat, forgiving as you have been forgiven. Let there be no secret carping, no rejection of peace with others; such things only add to your despondency and draw down heavier grief.

Your desire to restart the fast is commendable. Fasting, joined with prayer, grants great strength against the incorporeal powers. Do not be discouraged that you fell; rise again. But examine this: a fast merely in the belly, while you live in strife or self-indulgence of another kind, will not cast out the madness of persistent attack. Together with faith, fasting must be accompanied by prayer and a humble spirit. Approach your rebuke of evil with great gentleness, even toward yourself. God does not smite the already smitten; He came again to His sleeping disciples not to crush them but to show them their weakness, that they might learn they need His grace, not their own resolve.

When you ask to “rebuke this evil,” remember that all true rebuke must flow from love and be offered with a melting heart. Whether you confront evil in the world, in others, or in the secret thoughts, do it not with harshness or public display, but as Christ commanded: first alone, in pain and with great prudence. Even when rebuking with authority, mix conviction with consolation, lest the wound fester without the balm of exhortation. The Lord Himself will rebuke the enemy; your part is to submit to His watchfulness, to cleanse your heart, and to walk in peace.

Do not fear the unending attacks. The sun shall not harm you by day nor the moon by night, for the Lord keeps you from all evil. Yet He often permits struggle so that we may learn to cling to Him alone. Continue in prayer, forgive from the bowels of a father’s heart, and let your fasting be a quiet offering. Then the God of love and peace will be with you, and from His love true rest will come, a rest that passes understanding and is a foretaste of the life to come.
