Proverbs, Chapter 24

24:1 Don't be envious against evil men; Neither desire to be with them:

24:2 For their heart studies oppression, And their lips talk of mischief.

24:3 Through wisdom is a house built; And by understanding it is established;

24:4 And by knowledge are the chambers filled With all precious and pleasant riches.

24:5 A wise [noble] man is strong; Yes, a man of knowledge increases might

24:6 For by wise guidance you will make your war; And in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

24:7 Wisdom is too high for a fool: He does not open his mouth in the gate.

24:8 He who devises to do evil, Men will call him a mischief-maker.

24:9 The thought of foolishness is sin; And the scoffer is disgusting to man.

24:10 If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.

24:11 Deliver those who are carried away to death, And see that you hold back those who are ready to be slain.

24:12 If you say, Look, we did not know this; Does not he who weighs the hearts consider it? And he who keeps your soul, does he not know it? And will he not render to man according to his work?

24:13 My son, eat honey, for it is good; And the drippings of the honeycomb, which are sweet to your taste:

24:14 So you will know wisdom to be to your soul; If you have found it, then there will be a reward, And your hope will not be cut off.

24:15 Don't lay in wait, O wicked man, against the habitation of the righteous; Don't destroy his resting-place:

24:16 For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises up again; But the wicked are overthrown by calamity.

24:17 Don't rejoice when your enemy falls, And don't let your heart be glad when he is overthrown;

24:18 Or else Yahweh will see it, and it will be evil in his eyes, And he will turn away his wrath from him.

24:19 Don't fret yourself because of evildoers; Neither be envious at the wicked:

24:20 For there will be no reward to the evil man; The lamp of the wicked will be put out.

24:21 My son, fear Yahweh and the king; [And] don't company with those who are given to change:

24:22 For their calamity will rise suddenly; And the destruction from them both, who knows it?

24:23 These also are [words] of the wise. To show favoritism in judgment is not good.

24:24 He who says to the wicked, You are righteous; Peoples will curse him, nations will abhor him:

24:25 But to those who rebuke [him] will be delight, And a good blessing will come upon them.

24:26 He kisses the lips Who gives a right answer.

24:27 Prepare your work outside, And make it ready for yourself in the field; And afterward build your house.

24:28 Don't be a witness against your fellow man without cause; And do not deceive with your lips.

24:29 Don't say, I will do so to him as he has done to me; I will render to the man according to his work.

24:30 I went by the field of the sluggard, And by the vineyard of [the] man void of understanding;

24:31 And, look, it was all grown over with thorns, The face of it was covered with nettles, And the stone wall of it was broken down.

24:32 Then I looked, and considered well; I saw, and received instruction:

24:33 [Yet] a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep;

24:34 So will your poverty come as a robber, And your want as an armed man.

Do not rejoice when your enemy falls. Prov.24.17a  Pray for them. Just as Jesus did.  Ask God to save the souls of all your enemies.  To change their minds and hearts.  Invite them to church to know the way of salvation and to get ready for the second coming of or Messiah and Lord who will come in the clouds to take us home to glory.  Let us pray.   Dear God, we pray for all our enemies.  Seen and unseen.  We ask in the name of Jesus to save their souls right now.  Bring them to the house of the Lord and please, please, anoint them with the Holy Spirit so they too will see the way to heaven.  In Jesus name. Amen

There is no one in the whole world like Jesus.  His message is timeless, His presence is Joy of unspeakable glory,  His word is our daily bread to feed our souls with Gods love and compassion.  Proverbs 24.7  Wisdom is too high for a fool. He does not open his mouth at the gate.  This is one reason we must pray for all atheists, humanists, agnostics and pantheists who do not see Jesus as saviour of the world and they have no hope of eternal life in heaven.

Our heavenly Father knows what is best for our lives and He knows our destiny.  He made us for Himself let us live to serve Him with all our hear, mind and soul.  So, why should we complain about the wrong things people do to us or try to make us sin.  The world, the flesh and the devil was conquered by the Blood of Jesus.  Let us all look at the cross of Jesus who died for us and is risen again.  Then I looked and considered well.  I looked, and received instruction.  Prov. 24.32a   Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.  He will instruct us where we are gona go and what we are going to do in 2015.  As the New Year approaches may our work will be to the glory of God the Father who bestows upon us with many blessings.

For a righteous man falls seven times... and he will be lifted up by the Lords hands.  Seek His face daily.  Praise Him with all your heart, mind and soul.  He deserves all glory and honor.   Dear Jesus, we come before Your holy presence with humble heart.  Save the sinners we pray and bring them all to our service to hear Gods word.  in Your name. Amen

You and I are more than a name.  We have been chosen by God Himself to share the Good News that we shall never die.. but live with Him forever in heaven.  For a righteious man falls seven times and rises up again.  And when our human hearts are breaking under the pressures of illness, worry and fear, let ua ll look to Jesus to make us whole again.  Deep the heart of God resides mercy, compassion and love to all of us who look unto Him with faith and trust.

Cast away all my fears and all my worries I pray... Lift my down cast spirit so I will understand Your holy word. So I wil raise my voice in praise to to You.  Please, let my heart be brought to cheer others just as You told us to share the Good News to those who have not heard.  Wisdom is too high for a fool.    May the wisdom that comes from on high, fill my heart, my mind and my soul.  Confort me with Your merciful heart o Lord so I will serve You with all of my heart, my mind and my soul.   Amen

In my perspective, God wants us to live our lives as close to Christ as possible.  We should always be trying to spirtually feed our brothers and sisters that have lost there way.  Scripture says there is no need to argue with unbelievers but it is our job to give them the Word of God,  And yes, physically, we should  be trying to help our brother and sisters in need.  It seems that many times we are so afraid of speaking about God not to offend anyone but can talk about everything else.  We have to be on fire for God and carrying his Word in our hearts and serving Him to our fullest.

O Lord, without true labores of Thy kingdom people will die without hope.  Many are starving to death because they have not heard the Good News of Jesus.  The true Bread that comes from heaven.  Please God, as we read Your holy word, send more missionaries to the fields.  Recent graduates need experience on Gods work around the world.  Please send them to the field.  Through wisdom is a house built    Give us Lord wisdom that comes heaven.    We need it right away.  Open our eyes to see the fields are ready for harvest.
