Proverbs, Chapter 14

14:1 Every wise woman builds her house; But the foolish plucks it down with her own hands.

14:2 He who walks in his uprightness fears Yahweh; But he who is perverse in his ways despises him.

14:3 In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for [his] pride; But the lips of the wise will preserve them.

14:4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; But much increase is by the strength of the ox.

14:5 A faithful witness will not lie; But a false witness utters lies.

14:6 A scoffer seeks wisdom, and it is not [found]; But knowledge is easy to him who has understanding.

14:7 Go into the presence of a foolish man, And you will not perceive [in him] the lips of knowledge.

14:8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way; But the folly of fools is deceit.

14:9 A trespass-offering mocks fools; But among the upright there is goodwill.

14:10 The heart knows its own bitterness; And a stranger does not intermeddle with its joy.

14:11 The house of the wicked will be overthrown; But the tent of the upright will flourish.

14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man; But its end are the ways of death.

14:13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; And the end of mirth is heaviness.

14:14 The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways; And a good man [will be satisfied] from himself.

14:15 The simple believes every word; But the prudent man looks well to his going.

14:16 A wise man fears, and departs from evil; But the fool is furious and confident.

14:17 He who is soon angry will deal foolishly; And a man of wicked devices is hated.

14:18 The simple inherit folly; But the prudent are crowned with knowledge.

14:19 The evil bow down before the good; And the wicked, at the gates of the righteous.

14:20 The poor is hated even of his own fellow man; But the rich has many friends.

14:21 He who despises his fellow man sins; But he who has pity on the poor, he is happy.

14:22 Do they not err who devise evil? But mercy and truth [will be to] those who devise good.

14:23 In all labor there is profit; But the talk of the lips [tends] only to poverty.

14:24 The crown of the wise is their riches; [but] folly is the diadem of fools.

14:25 A true witness delivers souls; But he who utters lies [causes] deceit.

14:26 In the fear of Yahweh is strong confidence; And his sons will have a place of refuge.

14:27 The fear of Yahweh is a fountain of life, That one may avoid the snares of death.

14:28 In the multitude of people is the king's glory; But in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.

14:29 He who is slow to anger is of great understanding; But he who is in a hurry of spirit exalts folly.

14:30 A tranquil heart is the life of the flesh; But envy is the rottenness of the bones.

14:31 He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker; But he who has mercy on the needy honors him.

14:32 The wicked is thrust down in his evildoing; But the righteous has a refuge in his death.

14:33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding; But [that which is] in the inward part of fools is made known.

14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation; But sin is a reproach to any people.

14:35 The king's favor is toward a slave who deals wisely; But his wrath will be [against] him who causes shame.

He who is slow to anger is of great understanding.  Prov. 14.29  With Gods help with can overcome anger, fury, rage and everything else the devil brings to our lives.  Let us pray for those who are angered for nothing and may Jesus have mercy on the souls of those who are prone to rage specially those who are on the road.  Road rage is rampant and these people need Gods peace and joy in their hearts.  Dear Jesus, save them all from rage, anger and fury.  In Jesus name.  Amen

Every wise woman builds her house.  Yes, let us all build the house of the Lord so people will come and start praising and honoring God above all things.  Women of God faithful and true will build the house of the Lord and they need our prayers.  Jesús calls everyone of us to build His house on this earth.  My house belongs to Jesús because He has given it to me and it is to be used for His glory and honor.  For prayer, for bible study and to be a gate to heaven.  Souls will come and enter in it and find Jesús waiting to save them all.  Amen

Our mind is a beutiful garden which God has created in each one of us.  Our thoughts are the seeds in which a new plant will grow.  In this garden we can grow beautiful roses and flowers.  Or we can grow weeds that will look awful and will need a gardener to cut off.  May our thought and ideas be pleasing to God and a blessing to those who hear our words.   Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding.  Prov. 14.33a   Gives us wisdom from on high o God so our thoughts, our ideas and desires be pleasing to Your eyes.  Amen

You cannot imagine how exited we are for our coming trip to Israel. We learn so much about the Bible when we visit the places where Jesus live, taught and preached about the kingdom of God. The Sermon on the Mountain is my favorite topic and the singing Glorious Things are Coming will be joining us. Please pray that God will open our hearts and minds to understand His word and apply to our lives specially when we are walking where Jesus walked and see what Jesus saw. Thank you for your care and prayers. Amen

Only God can give us peace down deep in our soul. If we serve Him with our whole heart, mind and soul and walk in the steps of Jesus then we are heading for our home in glory. Gods word is true. A tranquil heart is the life of the flesh. Prov. 14.30a Let us thank God for sending Jesus to earth to give us the promise. In the world you will have troubles but I have overcome the world. My peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth you.

How far away do we tarry when going our merry way without Jesus?

As far away as our pride will carry us we will go, but then the result will be in a failure.  Why?  Because we did not hear the voice of the Lord speaking down deep in our soul.  He said.  Come home and we did not hear it.  Now as we read His holy word, let us return to Him. There is a way in which it seems right to a man.  But its end are the ways of death.  Prov. 13.14

Jesus is waiting for us with open arms.  Let us all return to Him with all our heart, mind and soul.
