We hear your concern and we join with you in seeking the Lord's protection and discernment over this situation, and we bring this email and every avenue of contact before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name.
We understand that uneasy feeling when something from the past resurfaces and it does not sit right in your spirit. The Word tells us to be discerning and to test the spirits, for not every spirit is from God, and to walk in wisdom while also not living in fear. We do not need to be afraid of any monitoring spirit or any scheme of the enemy, because we know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17.
Our protection is not in our own ability to hide or to control what others see, but in dwelling close to the Lord. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1, and we are promised that he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, Psalm 121:7-8. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. The name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to it, and are safe, Proverbs 18:10.
We also want to gently address something important we noticed, your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and have authority over darkness. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are brought into the family of God and can come boldly to Him for protection. And it is in that name that we have authority to resist the enemy, for scripture says Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7. So we come to the Father only through Jesus, and we pray in His mighty name.
We encourage you not to give place to a spirit of fear or suspicion that would keep you tormented, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. At the same time we encourage you to walk in godly wisdom. Do not feel pressured to answer that business venture quickly. Seek wise counsel, pray for clear discernment, and test what is being presented against the Word and the peace of the Holy Spirit. Guard your online presence with discretion, and set boundaries on what you share on social media, not out of fear but out of stewardship and prudence.
We rebuke in Jesus' name any monitoring spirit, any spirit of manipulation, surveillance, envy, or divination that would seek to watch, track, or influence your life, your business, or your peace, whether through a person from the past, a stranger, or through online means. We declare that such assignments have no authority over you as a child of God who is hidden in Christ.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your complete covering over their life, their home, their mind, and every form of communication including email and social media. We ask that You expose any hidden motive behind this business venture and give clear discernment whether to engage or to turn away. Let Your peace which passes all understanding guard their heart and mind. We ask that You place a hedge of protection around them that no evil eye, no monitoring spirit, and no plan of the enemy can penetrate. We command every unclean spirit assigned to watch or harass to leave now and to flee in Jesus' name, and we ask You to fill every place with Your Holy Spirit, with light and truth and peace. Give wisdom to set healthy boundaries online and in relationships, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We trust You to keep them from all evil and to lead them in Your perfect will. The Scripture gives a sure ground for comfort to those who trust in Christ. It is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. This protection is perpetual as well as personal, and if you are believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are not alone, for the Lord of all the holy angels is with you and an innumerable company of blessed spirits is round about you. Take comfort from this glorious truth of God. From the time when Satan fell, God's purpose has been to break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him, and He will lift up the poor while He casts down the mighty from the seats of their pomp. No monitoring eye of man, no unseen malice, can pass beyond the bounds of His providence.
We also remember that the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for the saints. The prayers which are indited in us by the Spirit of God are those which arise from our inmost soul, and a groan cometh not from the lips, but from the heart. When you cannot find words for this unease about the email and the sense of being watched, the Spirit makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered, and He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit. Bring your fear plainly to the Father, and kiss the Son, for blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.
Walk therefore in the appointed ways of wisdom and holiness. Do not be moved by a spirit of willfulness to go away from your home and calling in opposition to the order of God's providence, but keep in the path of duty and prudence.
