Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this request for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all who are in need. We are joining you in prayer and asking the Lord to cover you and to work powerfully on your behalf.
The Scriptures show that God often allows His people to come to a place where there seems to be no way out, so that He can reveal His power to deliver when deliverance looks impossible. He is able to make a way where there is no way. We see this when Israel was trapped with the sea before them and the enemy behind them, and the Lord opened the sea and brought them through. Afterwards Moses and the people sang a song of praise because the Lord had triumphed gloriously and given them complete victory and deliverance. In the same way, the Lord is able to bring breakthrough in your situation and turn a place of impossibility into a testimony of His power and goodness, so that fear falls away and praise takes its place.
We are praying that you will know the protection that comes from dwelling in close fellowship with God. The psalm describes the Lord as a fortress and a place of strength, and promises that those who live in the secret place of the Most High can trust in Him. He delivers from the trap of the enemy, like a bird rescued from the snare of a trapper, and covers His people as with wings where they can find refuge and comfort. His truth is a shield and protection against attack. Jesus Himself used the truth of God's Word as a shield when He was tempted. As you stay near the Lord and trust His Word, He promises His presence in trouble, deliverance, answers to prayer, and to show you His salvation.
By His divine power God has already given us everything we need for life and godliness through knowing Jesus Christ. Through His promises and through the seed of His Word planted in a receptive heart, we are made partakers of His nature and transformed to be more like Him, bearing fruit such as love, joy, peace and patience. That same power is at work to sustain you and to bring the breakthrough you are seeking.
So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for Your strong protection over this dear one and over all who are in need. Cover them, guard them from every trap and attack of the enemy, and let Your truth be a shield around them. Make a way where there seems to be no way, and manifest Your delivering power. Bring breakthrough according to Your will, lift them up, answer their prayers, and let Your presence be near in every trouble. Keep them in fellowship with You and show them Your salvation. We ask this trusting in Jesus Christ alone as our hope and our deliverer. Amen.
