Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this request for extra strong protection and breakthrough. It is good to bring this need to the Lord, and I am praying with you for His covering over you and over all who are in need.
Scripture gives a picture of where true protection is found. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, and those who are righteous run into it and are safe. In ancient times a strong tower built into the city wall was the final place of defense in war, the place where people ran when danger came. That is what the Lord is for His people. He is also a strong dwelling place where you can continually go, a hiding place who preserves you in trouble. That is very different from trusting in wealth or personal strength, which is only like a strong city in a person's own imagination. Real safety is not in our resources but in running to Him.
God also shows His power to bring breakthrough when there seems to be no way. With a strong hand He brought His people out of Egypt, and when they were trapped with no way of escape, He made a way where there was no way, driving back the sea with a strong wind and leading them through. He still does this. Many times He allows us to come to impossible situations so that He can show His power to deliver. What He did then He can do now, causing fear to fall on the enemy and bringing His people into a song of deliverance.
The Lord is looking for hearts that are fully turned toward Him. His eyes go throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal to Him. That is His promise to you. You do not have to face this in your own strength. Whether we feel weak or strong, it is nothing for Him to help when we call on His name and go out in His name.
So be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for He will be with you wherever you go. He will do the work. As you keep trusting Him and staying in His Word, you become strong in Him, and your work in Him will be rewarded.
I pray that the Lord will be your strong tower and your continual dwelling place today, that you will run into His name and be safe, that His strong hand will make a way and bring breakthrough where it is needed, and that He will show Himself strong on your behalf and on behalf of all who are in need, guarding you and giving you peace in Jesus' name.
