We join with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for acknowledging Him as Lord, our ultimate healer and our fortress in times of trouble. We hear the weight of what you and your family have carried for these past two years, the deep pain, the continuous hurdles, and the severe medical challenges that have left you feeling broken physically, mentally, and financially. We also hear the fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are working to bring harm or revenge against you, and we want to stand with you in truth and in prayer.
You are right to remember what Scripture teaches, that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy is real, but we want to encourage you that he is already defeated and is limited under the sovereign hand of God. Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17.
We do not need to live in fear of revenge or hidden curses, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2.
We also want to gently remind you not to give more authority to the enemy than Scripture gives him, and not to seek answers in superstition, rituals, or retaliation against people you suspect. Instead we are called to submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7, to put on the whole armor of God daily with truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer Ephesians 6:13-18, and to walk in the light, in fellowship with other believers, and in consistent prayer and the Word.
We pray together for you and your family now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear family to Your throne of grace. You see every hidden burden, every sleepless night, every medical report, every financial strain, and every anxious thought. Lord, we ask You to be their fortress and their healer. Place Your hand of protection over their home, their bodies, and their minds. Let no evil scheme prosper against them, and break every assignment of darkness in the name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over them and ask for Your holy angels to encamp around them.
Lord, bring healing where there has been sickness and pain. Bring peace where there has been fear and mental torment, for You promise that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, we should let our requests be made known to You, and Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Bring provision and wisdom where there has been financial breaking, for You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider. Restore what the enemy has tried to steal and strengthen their faith to trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28.
Help them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, to abide in You daily, to forgive as You have forgiven, and to walk in obedience and holiness. Teach them to resist fear and to stand firm in faith. We declare that if God is for us, who can be against us Romans 8:31, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Fill their home with Your presence, Your joy, and Your hope.
We thank You, Lord, that You have heard our prayer. We trust You to step in on their behalf and to bring deliverance, healing, and restoration in Your perfect time and will. We pray all of this in the victorious and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to remain under sound medical care as God often heals through the wisdom He gives to physicians, to gather with a Bible believing church for support and prayer, and to speak Scripture aloud over your family when fear rises. Keep praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we have victory John 14:6, Acts 4:12. He is near to you in this long season and He will carry you through.
