Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your request for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all in need. I join you in bringing this before the Lord who hears and cares for His people.
We pray to the One who is strong and mighty in battle. Scripture proclaims that Christ has gone up on high, He has led captivity captive, and He has received gifts for men, and that He came to preach deliverance to captives and recovery of sight to the blind. In Him we have not only deliverance from evil but the supply of every good gift, for through faith in Jesus Christ alone we are delivered from the curse and receive adoption as sons of God.
I pray that God would cover you and all who are in need with His protecting hand, that He would grant breakthrough where there has been long struggle, and that He would make His presence and power known in your circumstances. At the same time we remember that God does not always promise immediate deliverance from every hardship, but He does promise to set us above fear, to fix our hope on the immortality of the soul and the better resurrection He has prepared for those who trust in Christ. May He give you courage to despise fear and to rest in His victory, knowing that nothing can separate you from His love.
As you seek protection for yourself, ask also how the Lord may use you to be an instrument of His protection and care for others. Each of us has been given ability, whether in practical help, in prayer, in giving, or in teaching, to use for our neighbor's good, to clothe the naked, to visit those in distress, and to stand with those who need support.
May the Lord grant you peace, strengthen your faith, and lead you into the breakthrough that accords with His wise and good will, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
