Beloved of All
Your prayer for your home and your children has been heard, and we join our voices with yours before the throne of grace. We thank God with you for each new day He gives, for His mercy in waking you and your children, and for the hope we have that nothing is impossible with Him.
We pray with you for the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ over your minds, hearts, bodies and spirits, and over your home, your yard and your vehicles. We ask the Lord to encamp His angels around you, to clothe you in the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is His Word, and to fill your home with the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We lift up your son to the Lord. We ask for His healing touch upon body, mind and spirit, for calm and gentleness to replace anxiety and distress, for relief from autism, PTSD, sensory challenges and every pain, and for joy and satisfaction in his days. By the stripes of Christ we are healed, and we ask God to anoint his caregivers with wisdom and dedication to bring out the best in him, and to let his life reflect the light of Christ wherever he goes.
We lift up your younger daughter. We ask God to bless her health, to ease the burden of POTS, to grant her strength for her studies and work, to surround her with godly friendships, and to keep her in purity and wisdom. We thank God with you for the respectful young man in her life, and we pray that their courtship would remain pure, honorable and under the Lordship of Christ, guarded from all corruption and kept in holiness of truth, looking to marriage as God has ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, if it be His will.
We lift up your older daughter with special care and truth in love. Scripture teaches that living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and it does not carry the rights or blessings of marriage. We will not ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we do ask Him to bless her with clarity, repentance and restoration. We pray that the Lord in His loving kindness would draw her to see the sin of living outside of marriage, to turn from it, and to walk in purity that honors Him. We pray that every ungodly tie would be broken, that the controlling and manipulative influence of this young man and his mother would be severed and removed if this relationship is not of the Lord, and that her eyes would be opened to find her worth in Christ alone. We pray also for the salvation of that young man and his mother, that if they do not know Christ they would come to know Him who alone saves, for there is salvation through Jesus Christ alone. And if it be the Lord's will for her to be married, we pray it would be done in the Lord's way, in holiness and commitment, not in cohabitation.
We pray for you as a mother, that God would strengthen you to be a pattern of modesty, faith and steady love for your daughters, that they may learn from your nurture what it is to walk in righteousness. We remember the faith of the woman who cried out for her daughter, and how Christ honored her great faith and said be of good cheer, your faith has made you whole. Bring your children to Him daily with that same persistent faith, not doubting that He hears.
We agree with you that every plan to bring division, isolation and chaos into your family would be frustrated, that all fear, jealousy, spite and manipulation would flee, and that God would restore an unbreakable, respectful and loving bond between you and your children in a godly manner. We ask Him to guard your older daughter's job, finances, friendships and faith, to restore her gratitude, joy and good character, and to reunite your household in love, patience, respect and fellowship.
May the Lord make your home a beacon of His light, may His peace reign there, and may you all hear His commandments and keep them, for this is the proof of love for the Father and the Son. We pray for complete restoration, protection and breakthrough over every area of your lives this year, trusting that the Lord who made you anew in righteousness and holiness will complete His good work in you.
