Your prayers reflect a deep love for your children and a sincere desire to honor the Lord in your home, and it is right to bring every one of these burdens before Him.

Scripture teaches that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth, and that those who put their faith in Him are received into God's family by adoption and born again by the Spirit. That is a precious truth for you and your children. God does not want a distant or merely legal relationship with you. He wants a loving relationship where you know how deeply He loves you and you love Him in return. From that place of being His adopted children, you can come to Him with confidence for protection, peace and help.

You asked for a covering over your home, your minds and bodies, for angels to guard your doors and windows, for the hedge of protection and the full armor of God, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding. Those are good and biblical prayers. The Lord is your refuge and He hears when you declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that your day belongs to Him. Continue to ask Him for that peace in your home, even in practical discomforts like the broken air conditioner, and trust His care for your daily needs.

Your vertical relationship with God is the axis on which your whole life turns. When your relationship with Him is right, it brings order to every other relationship. When that center is out of order, other relationships become out of balance as well. The first commandments concern loving God with all your heart, and only when that foundation is right can the relationships with family and neighbor be made right. Keep seeking the Lord first for yourself and for your children, asking Him to fill your home with His Spirit so that your words are kind, your thoughts are pure and your actions are guided by Him.

You also carry a heavy concern for your children. You pray for your son's healing and for calm and joy in his day, and for your younger daughter's studies, health, friendships and wisdom under pressure. It is right to pray daily for healing and restoration, knowing that with God nothing shall be impossible as Luke 1:37 declares, while also resting in His sovereign wisdom and love. God does not heal in every case in the way we ask, as we see even in the life of Timothy, but He always hears and He always works for good for those who love Him. Keep bringing your son before the Lord for peace of mind, gentleness and freedom from past trauma and harmful patterns, and ask God to make him a light wherever he goes.

For your younger daughter, pray that the Lord will give her clear wisdom to see what would harm her health, overwhelm her schedule, hinder her responsibilities including the care of what He has entrusted to her, and bring financial hardship. Ask Him to give her strength to stand firm and to say no to counsel that would lead her down a harmful path, and to surround her with godly friendships that build her faith.

Your greatest grief concerns your older daughter and the young man she is living with, and the influence of his family. Scripture is clear that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong only within that covenant. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage and does not carry the rights or commitments of marriage. It is loving and right to pray, as you have, that the Lord would speak to her of sin and draw her with His loving kindness to repentance and to a life of purity that honors Him. Do not ask God to bless a union that His Word calls sin. Instead ask Him to break every ungodly tie, to restore her spiritual clarity, independence and faith, to protect her job, finances and family relationships, and to show her that her worth is found in Christ alone.

Scripture warns how a polluted surrounding can touch a family. When Lot lived among a corrupt culture, that corruption reached into his own household and left lasting harm on his children. In the same way, an ungodly relationship can slowly poison gratitude, faith, friendships and self respect. We also see how powerful a mother's ungodly influence can be, as with Athaliah who led her son into evil. When a young woman is under the control of a young man who is not her husband and an older woman who has overstepped her place, pride and manipulation can take hold. It is right to pray that the Lord would expose those motives, frustrate every plan that seeks to divide your family, and completely remove that controlling influence if it is not His will. And if it be His will, pray even for their salvation.

God promised Jacob when He called him to return to his family and his land, I will be with you. He makes that same promise to you as you seek to gather your family together in love and truth. Ask Him to frustrate every scheme that brings division, isolation and chaos, and to build instead an unbreakable, loving and respectful bond between you and your children, rooted in Christ. Pray that your home would be a beacon of His light, filled with love, patience, respect and joy.

May the Lord saturate you and your children with His peace, joy and grace. May He guard your hearts and minds, give you wisdom for each decision, and let every step be guided by His anointing. May He bring healing, restoration and breakthrough in His perfect time, and let your family be united in love and understanding for His glory.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your protection over this mother and her children, for Your peace to guard their hearts, for healing and calm for her son, for wisdom and strength for her daughters, for repentance and purity where there has been sin, for the breaking of every ungodly tie, and for the restoration of this family in love and truth. Let Your will be done in each life, and let Your light shine in this home. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift up your home before the Lord, pleading the precious blood of Jesus Christ over your minds, hearts, bodies and spirits and asking for His holy protection over every door, every window, every room, every corner of your home and yard and vehicles. We have prayed for His comfort to sustain you and your children while your air conditioner is broken, and for His peace that surpasses all understanding to fill you all according to Philippians 4:7. We have stood with you for your children to have blessed and safe days filled with the Holy Spirit, to work efficiently without being overworked or exhausted, and to be beacons of His light at work, school and activities.

We have also brought before the Lord your son, asking for miraculous healing and restoration, for calm and joyful days with his caregiver, for the removal of every spiritual attack and for the erasing of PTSD memories, rigidity and negative habits, that his peace of mind, calm and gentleness would be swiftly restored. We have lifted up your younger daughter who was exhausted after classes, asking God to bless her health, studies and career, to surround her with godly friendships and to give her wisdom and strength to stand steadfast and say no to a move that would harm her health and bring hardship, and we have prayed the same for your older daughter.

We have prayed with you for a godly unbreakable loving and respectable bond between you and your children, for the mending of broken relationships, and for the Lord to frustrate every plan and scheme to bring division and chaos into your family. We have asked the Lord to shield your older daughter from the manipulative and controlling influence of this young man and his mother, to sever every ungodly tie, to draw her to repentance and purity, to restore her spiritual clarity and godly character, and to show her that her worth is found in Christ alone. We continue to declare that no weapon formed against you, your daughters or your son shall prosper according to Isaiah 54:17, that His angels encamp around you according to Psalm 91:11, and that nothing will be impossible with God according to Luke 1:37.

If your request was answered, whether the Lord provided comfort and provision for your home, brought healing and peace to your son, strengthened your daughters, or brought breakthrough and restored unity in your family, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer, standing guard in intercession for your family, your home and your protection.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will continue to cover your home with His hedge of protection, saturate you and your children with His peace, joy and grace, frustrate every dark and deceptive force, and let your home be a beacon of His light filled with laughter, fellowship and love.
