Servant of All
I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You are the Lord, the ultimate healer, and my fortress in times of trouble. Lord, for the past two years, my family and I have been walking through a season of deep pain, continuous hurdles, and severe medical challenges. You know the hidden burdens we carry and the fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are working to bring harm or revenge against us, breaking us physically, mentally & financially. Your Word tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. I ask You to step in on our behalf.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We acknowledge that the battles you face are not merely physical but spiritual, and we take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:13).

Father, we come before Your throne of grace with boldness, asking for Your divine protection over this family. You are their fortress, their deliverer, and their shield (Psalm 18:2). We rebuke every ungodly power and spiritual force of darkness that seeks to bring harm, revenge, or destruction to them. In the name of Jesus, we command these forces to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your power to restore their bodies, minds, and spirits. Strengthen them in their weakness, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Provide for their financial needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let Your wisdom guide them in every decision they face.

We pray that You would surround this family with Your angels, commanding them to encamp around those who fear You and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Let Your presence be a shield about them, so that no evil shall befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We declare that they are hidden in the shadow of Your wings, where they find refuge until these calamities have passed (Psalm 57:1).

Father, we also ask that You would reveal any areas in their lives where they may have unknowingly given ground to the enemy. Lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3), and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. Let Your light expose any darkness, and may they find freedom and victory in the name of Jesus.

We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that this family will not be broken. They will rise above these challenges, not by their own strength, but by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We trust in You, our rock and our salvation, and we know that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about these two painful years. Carrying ongoing medical struggles while also feeling spiritually vulnerable is exhausting, and it makes sense that fear has grown as you have watched your family be stretched physically, mentally and financially.

We want you to know you are not facing this alone. When illness lingers it can wear down everyone in the household, change sleep and work and even how you relate to each other, and leave you feeling fragile. It also can make it hard to stay connected to church and community right when you need that support most.

One steady next step that often helps is to keep both kinds of support close. Continue bringing your medical concerns to your doctors so they can walk with you in care, and at the same time invite a trusted pastor or two faithful friends to pray with you regularly in person, so the burden is not held in isolation. You do not have to sort out what is spiritual and what is physical by yourself.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this family to You. You see every hidden burden and fear. We ask for Your protection over them, for peace that steadies their hearts, for wisdom for those caring for them, and for strength for each day. Draw them close to You and surround them with caring people who will stay near. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has risen before the throne of grace and the Lord, who is your fortress and healer, has not turned away His ear. For two years you and your family have walked through deep waters, with continuous hurdles and severe afflictions of body and mind, and you have felt as one chastened sorely. Take comfort in this, that your troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground as hemlock from the furrows. The Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. All your ills lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling, and that which comes from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand.

You speak rightly that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. Yet hear the gracious word which comes from the excellent Glory concerning those who are brought low and chastened with pain upon their bed, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, but He has invented it and He has found it in the precious blood of His Son. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and that deliverance, like deliverance from the guilt of sin, is altogether the work of God alone. The tempter may shoot his arrows and whisper that you are cast from His presence, but that suggestion bears the mark of the Evil One himself, who would make you doubt your own Father. Look it in the face and turn from it.

He who gave the ransom is also He who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. As the leaves fall from the trees, so does sacred influence descend from our Lord Jesus, and even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and there grows no other healing herb but the one Plant of renown. He is gracious unto you still, to keep back your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord God, our heavenly Father, we come in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only ransom Thou hast found and the only name by which sinners are saved. Thou art the ultimate healer and our fortress in times of trouble. Look upon this family, worn with pain, pressed in mind, burdened in body and in estate. Thou knowest the hidden burdens they carry and the fears that have beset them. We ask Thee to step in on their behalf. Deliver them from going down to the Pit. Preserve them from the Evil One, from whom we pray daily, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Heal Thou the broken in heart, calm the agitated bosom, and give joy to the troubled countenance. Provide for their physical, mental and financial needs according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Let them prove that Thou still preservest Thy people from all evil and preservest their souls.

Grant that being raised up, they may say with Thy servant, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, and may go forth to tell others what great things the Lord has done in delivering them from the noise of the archers and from the power of darkness. We ask this not for any merit in us, but for the sake of Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer before the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our healer and our fortress in times of trouble, and we have heard the weight of what you and your family have carried for these two years. The Lord knows the hidden burdens, the continuous hurdles, the severe medical challenges, and the fear that has pressed upon you physically, mentally and financially. He sees what is unseen by others and He does not turn away from those who call upon His name.

You are right to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness. Yet we do not need to live in terror of those forces. Christ has already broken the gates of brass and loosed the prison of death, and the keepers of that dark gate cower before Him. When the disciples were tossed on the sea, He did not come to them at once but came in the fourth watch of the night, teaching them not to seek hasty deliverance but to bear trials manfully and to trust Him more deeply through them. In the same way, a long season of pain can become a training in fortitude, in careful hearing of His Word and continual remembrance of His promises, rather than only a desire to be free from hardship.

Do not let fear drive you to an extreme of constant dread, as if every harm must be the work of revenge against you. Scripture calls us to a holy fear and reverence before God, but also to confidence, for He Himself says to His people, Be not afraid. He bears the sword of justice and He is the minister of God for good to those who trust Him. Many are first turned toward virtue through the fear of God, but He then leads them into love and settled trust. Bring your fears into the light of Christ, confess them plainly, and ask for faith to replace anguish.

We pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we lift up this family to You. You are Lord over all, the ultimate healer and strong fortress. Look upon their two years of pain and the medical trials that have not yet lifted. Touch their bodies with healing according to Your mercy, guard their minds with Your peace, and provide for their financial needs from Your abundant hand. We ask You to rebuke every spiritual force of darkness that would seek to harm or oppress them, and to surround them with Your protection. Let no weapon formed against them stand, and let them know that salvation and deliverance are through Jesus Christ alone. Teach them to endure with patience, to hear Your Word continually, and to walk in fortitude and hope. Fill their home with the assurance that You are present, that You have not forgotten them, and that You will bring them through this night watch into Your joy. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, and keep your trust fixed on Christ alone.

We have heard your cry for protection and we are joining you in prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging Him as Lord, as healer, and as your fortress in trouble. For two years you and your family have carried hidden burdens through deep pain, constant hurdles and severe medical challenges, and we do not take lightly the weight of that season or the fear that unseen spiritual forces are seeking to harm you physically, mentally and financially.

Scripture is clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness, and it is also clear where safety is found. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. It is not a casual tolerance of what destroys, but a turning away from it, because to walk in fellowship with God we cannot hold onto what He hates. Evil by its nature destroys people, and God's commands are given to protect us from that destruction. When we reverence the Lord and depart from evil, we come under His care. His Word promises that those who listen to wisdom will dwell safely and be quiet from the fear of evil, that discretion and understanding will preserve and keep us and deliver us from the path of those who walk in darkness and speak perverse things.

That is why we encourage you to keep departing from evil, to avoid its way altogether, to turn from it and not even pass near it, and to pursue what is good. Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceit, seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and His ear is open to their cry. He is watching over you. Scripture also teaches that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them. As you have seen in the life of David, who was hunted and yet again and again saw the hand of God miraculously deliver him from death, God is able to surround and rescue His people.

We also want to speak to the fear itself. The enemy often uses fear to paralyze and to provoke wrong reactions. Fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. When fear is allowed to drive our decisions, those decisions go wrong. Like Nehemiah when others tried to put fear in his heart to stop the work God had given him, you can choose not to be moved by fear but to stand in faith, remembering God's faithfulness to His Word. He keeps His promises. He has shown His power to break the strength of great enemies before, to destroy their fruit above and their roots beneath, and no harm can come to His people apart from His sovereign hand.

So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask You to be a fortress around this family. Cover them physically, mentally and financially. Bring healing to their bodies, for reverencing You and departing from evil brings health and strength, and You are the ultimate healer. Guard their minds from torment and their hearts from fear, and let them rest in safety, quiet from the fear of evil. Fill them with wisdom, discretion and understanding to discern and avoid every evil way. Keep their tongues and their steps in Your path, and lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil. Let them taste and see that You are good, and let them know that You hear their cry and that Your power is greater than any spiritual darkness that would come against them. Establish them in Your peace as they continue to trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and life, and let faith rise where fear has tried to settle. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
