Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in prayer during this heavy and difficult season.
We pray that God, through Jesus Christ alone who is our reconciliation and our peace, will give you strength, wisdom, and guidance, and that He will guard your heart with His peace that passes understanding. We ask Him to protect you and your whole family, your health, your home, and your financial needs, to provide for you day by day, to open the right doors according to His perfect will, and to keep you from harm.
We also pray for him whom you mentioned, that God would protect him, grant him wisdom, and help him understand what is right and true according to Scripture. We pray that God would bring honesty, clarity, and peace where there has been hurt and misunderstanding, and that He would heal what is broken in a way that honors Him.
We pray that your relationship would be guided by God's will and His Word. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together and sexual intimacy belong within that covenant. So we do not ask God to simply bless things as they are, but to lead you both into what is holy, pure, and right in His eyes. If it is His will for you to walk forward together, we pray He would make that path clear and lead you toward a healthy, peaceful, and godly marriage. If it is not His will, we pray He would give you both grace, wisdom, and peace to accept His direction and to follow Him faithfully.
Above all we pray that you and your family would put your full trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and for every need, knowing that God has shown His love by bringing us near through His Son, forgiving sins, and giving hope for what is to come. May the Lord keep you close to Himself, help you to seek Him daily, to live in a way that pleases Him, and to find strength in Him through this season.
We continue to pray that God, who knows what is best for all of you, will guide every step according to His good and perfect will. Amen.
