We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in prayer during this heavy and difficult season.

We pray that God, through Jesus Christ alone who is our reconciliation and our peace, will give you strength, wisdom, and guidance, and that He will guard your heart with His peace that passes understanding. We ask Him to protect you and your whole family, your health, your home, and your financial needs, to provide for you day by day, to open the right doors according to His perfect will, and to keep you from harm.

We also pray for him whom you mentioned, that God would protect him, grant him wisdom, and help him understand what is right and true according to Scripture. We pray that God would bring honesty, clarity, and peace where there has been hurt and misunderstanding, and that He would heal what is broken in a way that honors Him.

We pray that your relationship would be guided by God's will and His Word. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together and sexual intimacy belong within that covenant. So we do not ask God to simply bless things as they are, but to lead you both into what is holy, pure, and right in His eyes. If it is His will for you to walk forward together, we pray He would make that path clear and lead you toward a healthy, peaceful, and godly marriage. If it is not His will, we pray He would give you both grace, wisdom, and peace to accept His direction and to follow Him faithfully.

Above all we pray that you and your family would put your full trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and for every need, knowing that God has shown His love by bringing us near through His Son, forgiving sins, and giving hope for what is to come. May the Lord keep you close to Himself, help you to seek Him daily, to live in a way that pleases Him, and to find strength in Him through this season.

We continue to pray that God, who knows what is best for all of you, will guide every step according to His good and perfect will. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this heavy burden and allowing us to pray with you. What you are carrying for yourself and your family is deeply felt, and it is good that you are bringing it to God as your Father.

God does not want a distant or ritual connection with you. Through Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, He has made a way to adopt you into His own family. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He told them to begin with Our Father in heaven, and that is the wonder of what you have in Christ, a close and intimate relationship where you can come to Him as your Daddy, loved and known by Him. He does not want a legal relationship where you try to earn His favor, but a loving relationship where you know how much He loves you and you love Him in return.

Scripture shows that your relationship with God is primary. It is the vertical axis on which your whole life turns. You cannot hope for your relationships with other people to be right until your relationship with Him is right. When that center is out of balance, every other relationship becomes out of balance as well. But when your walk with God is being made right through obedience and trust, the other relationships have a way of coming into balance. Many of our struggles with one another can be traced back to this first relationship. That is why the greatest need in this season is to draw near to the Lord Himself, not half heartedly but with a whole heart. He does not desire lukewarm devotion, but a full and sincere love for Him.

That loving relationship is only possible because God has made one provision for forgiveness and for putting away sin and guilt, and that is through His Son. The Holy Spirit bears witness to this truth in our hearts, that salvation comes by believing into a vital, life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. It is not merely agreeing to ideas about Him, but entering into life with Him. When you are alive to God through Christ, the peace and strength you are asking for become the natural fruit of that relationship, not something you have to strive to manufacture on your own.

With that foundation, we are praying for you as you asked. We are asking God to give you strength, peace, wisdom and guidance for each decision that lies before you, and to guard you from discouragement. We are praying for the man you mentioned, that God would protect him, grant him wisdom, and give him a clear understanding of what is right in the eyes of God. We pray that any hurt and misunderstanding between you would be dealt with honestly and in a way that honors the Lord. If it is the Lord's will for you to be reconciled, we pray that He would bring that reconciliation in a way that is healthy, peaceful, and truthful, shaped by His design. God created marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He intends for love and intimacy to be expressed within that covenant. So we pray that whatever path forward God shows you both, it would be one that seeks purity, honesty, and obedience to Him, rather than simply returning to what was before.

We are also lifting up your whole family, your health, your home and your financial needs. When your relationship with God is right, you will also have a right relationship with the things He has entrusted to you, knowing they belong to Him and trusting Him to provide. We ask that He would protect you from harm, provide for your daily needs, open the doors that should be opened and close those that should be closed, and give you steady strength through this season.

God knows what is best for you and for those you love, and He is able to guide everything according to His perfect will. Keep looking to Him as your Father, seek first to be right with Him through Jesus Christ, and trust that as you walk with Him in love, He will bring clarity and care for every other area you have entrusted to Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting you and your family before the Lord and continue to pray for protection over you all during this difficult and emotionally heavy season. We have been asking God to give you strength and peace and wisdom and guidance and to watch over your whole family and your health and your home and your financial situation. We have been praying that He will open the right doors and provide for your needs and protect you from difficulties and give you strength through this season according to His will.

We have also been praying for the one on your heart that God would protect him and give him wisdom and help him understand what is right. We have asked that if it is the will of God He would heal the misunderstandings and hurt between you and bring peace and honesty into your relationship and help things become good again in a healthier and more peaceful way. We hold to the promise in Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and the promise in Philippians 4:7 that the peace of God will guard our hearts.

If your request was answered and you have seen God bring peace and provision and protection or healing in your family or in that relationship, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray that He will continue to cover you and your family under His wings and lead you with wisdom and keep you in His perfect peace in Jesus Name Amen.
