Your request for extra strong protection and breakthrough has been heard, and it is right to bring it before the Lord. He is the place of safety for His people.
Scripture says the name of the Lord is a strong tower, and those who are righteous run into it and are safe. In ancient times a strong tower was built into the city wall as a final place of defense in war, where people could run when the enemy pressed in. That is what the Lord is for you. He is your strong dwelling place where you may continually abide, your hiding place who preserves you in trouble. A rich man's wealth may feel like a strong city to him, but it is only a wall in his own imagination. True security is found in running into the name of the Lord.
He is also the One who delivers with a strong hand. When Israel was trapped with no way of escape, He made a way where there was no way and brought them out, and then Moses and the people sang of His power and deliverance. The same Lord still sends His power to part the waters before you. When you face what looks impossible, He is able to manifest His delivering power and cause fear to fall upon the enemy rather than upon you.
The Lord also says again and again to His people, be strong and be very courageous. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for I will be with you wherever you go. He often calls us to stand in places that are far beyond our own ability, and when we measure the task by our own strength we feel unable. His answer is not to point to our strength, but to promise His presence. It is much better to be moved by love for Him than by fear, to want to please Him because you love Him, and to let His nearness make you strong.
The Bible says the eyes of the Lord run throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully toward Him. He is looking for hearts to strengthen. And He says, be strong, let not your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded. That is true both when you feel weak and when you feel strong. Many begin by trusting the Lord, but later when they become prosperous and strong they begin to trust their own power, riches, or alliances. Like a king who once prayed and saw a vast army of a million men defeated by God, but later trusted in the arm of flesh, we must keep trusting the Lord and not our own resources. Strength itself can become a danger if the heart is lifted up with pride, but when strength is yielded to God and kept humble before Him, He keeps us.
So I am praying for you and for all who are in need, that the Lord will be your strong tower today, that you will run into His name and be safe, that His strong hand will make a way for breakthrough where there seems to be no way, and that He will show Himself strong on your behalf as you trust Him with a whole heart. May He guard you from harm, lift up your hands when you are weary, and give you courage through His presence. May He do what only He can do, so that you can praise Him for His deliverance.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask You to be a strong tower and dwelling place for this dear one and for all who are in need. Cover them, keep them safe from the enemy, and preserve them in trouble. With Your strong hand make a way where there is no way and bring breakthrough according to Your will. Show Yourself strong for those whose hearts are toward You. Help them to be strong and courageous, not in their own strength but because You are with them. Keep them trusting You and not in their own power. In Jesus name, amen.
