Protection

We lift up your request for extra strong protection and breakthrough before the Lord with you and join you in praying for all who are in need.

We pray that the Father will cover you with His protection and keep you in Christ, who has gone up on high and led captivity captive and who is strong and mighty in battle. We ask Him for true deliverance, not only from outward danger but from all evil, and for the supply of every good gift through His Son, that you may know more deeply that you are His child through faith in Jesus Christ.

We ask that where there are hard battles and heavy pressures, He will furnish you with strong armor and a steadfast purpose of mind, and lift you above fear, fixing your heart on the hope of eternal life. Where you need breakthrough, we pray He will open the way according to His wisdom and will, preaching deliverance to you where you feel captive and bringing light where you need sight, and granting you grace to use whatever He has entrusted to you for the good of others.

May the Lord hear your prayers as He heard the prayers of His Son offered with strong crying and tears, and may He answer according to His perfect love and power. We commit you and all in need into His faithful hands, trusting Him to guard, to provide, and to lead you forward in His peace.

Your request for extra strong protection and breakthrough has been heard and I am praying with you and for all who are in need.

God often allows His people to come to a place where there seems to be no way forward so that He can show His power to deliver. He is able to make a way where there is no way and to bring His people out of the trap when no human solution exists. Just as He delivered Israel through the sea when they were hemmed in with no escape, He still triumphs gloriously over every enemy and obstacle. That deliverance led to a song of praise and celebration because God had wrought a great victory, and He can bring that same kind of breakthrough for you, turning fear and dread upon the forces that oppose you and giving you reason to rejoice.

The place of protection is dwelling in close fellowship with Him. Scripture calls Him the secret place of the Most High, a fortress and a place of strength. When you abide there and put your trust in Him, He promises to deliver you from the snare of the trapper. His truth becomes your shield and protection against the attacks of the enemy. Jesus Himself used the truth of God's Word as a defense, and as you stay in that Word you are covered. His Word also is the seed that forms His nature within you, and by His divine power He has already given you all that you need for life and godliness through knowing Jesus Christ. As you grow in faith, virtue, knowledge, and love, the fruit of His Spirit is formed in you and strengthens you from within.

You are also not alone. God has placed believers together as one body, and there is real protection and strength that comes through the prayers and support of others who belong to Him.

I am praying that the Lord will be your fortress and your shield today, that He will guard you and those you love from every snare, that He will make a clear way forward where there now seems to be none, and that He will bring a breakthrough that displays His power. May He answer when you call, be present with you in trouble, deliver and honor you, and show you His salvation. May His peace and strength rest upon you and upon all who are in need, in Jesus name.
