Protection

Your request for extra strong protection and breakthrough has been brought before the Lord with thanksgiving. We join you in asking for His covering over you and over all who are in need.

We pray that God, who is strong and mighty in battle and who led captivity captive through Christ, would be your deliverance and your supply of good. May He guard you not only from outward danger but keep your soul firm within, so that you are set above fear and trial through confidence in His promises.

We ask that He clothe you with the breastplate of faith and love and the helmet of the hope of salvation, so that no fiery dart of the enemy finds a place in you, and your mind remains steady and upright in Christ. Where His love guards the heart, every scheme against it is made vain.

We pray for breakthrough according to His wisdom and mercy, that He would open the way where there is no way, bring deliverance to those held captive, sight to those in darkness, and strengthen all who wait on Him to stand firm and to live for the good of others as well. May He who has made us sons through Christ and given us the Spirit of adoption keep you in His care and grant you a deeper assurance of eternal life, so that even in hardship you have peace knowing your life is secure in Him.

May the Lord keep you, watch over your going out and coming in, and grant you and all in need His protection, provision, and victorious hope in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this request for protection and breakthrough. It is good to bring these needs to the Lord and to ask Him to cover not only your own lives but all who are in need.

Scripture presents the Lord as a place of safety for those who stay close to Him. To dwell in the secret place of the Most High is to live in fellowship with Him, and there He becomes a fortress and strength, the God in whom you can trust. His truth is a shield that guards against the attacks of the enemy, and He is able to deliver from the trap of the one who would ensnare you, even when the trap seems hidden. As you walk with Him, you can ask Him to be that covering over you, to guard your steps, to keep you under His wings, and to answer when you call upon Him in trouble.

At times the Lord allows His people to face situations that feel impossible, where there appears to be no way forward. He does this so He can show His power to deliver when no human deliverance is possible and to make a way where there is no way. Israel experienced this at the sea, with no path before them and no escape behind them, and the Lord opened the waters and brought them through. Afterwards Moses and the people sang a song of praise for the victory the Lord had accomplished, and Miriam and the women joined with music and dancing to celebrate that great deliverance. That same God still brings breakthrough and then turns fear into joy and praise.

I am praying that the Lord will be your protection in this season, that He will surround you and all who are in need with His presence, keep you from the snares of the enemy, and guard you with His truth. I am also praying for clear breakthrough, that where you see closed doors and impossible circumstances, He will make a way and show His delivering power, so that you can rejoice in His salvation and give Him glory. May He grant you His peace, keep you in His care, and with long life satisfy you and show you His salvation.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all in need.

We have continued to bring your request before the Lord asking Him to cover you with His protection and to bring breakthrough in every area where it is needed. We trust His promise that the Lord is faithful and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one as written in 2 Thess 3:3 and that He will give His angels charge over you as written in Psalm 91:11.
