Protection

You ask for extra strong protection and breakthrough. I will join that request, but we must ask according to God's way of protecting. He does not always promise deliverance from danger. Sometimes he permits the trial and grants something greater: a soul that does not fear death, a conscience at peace, and a will made strong. Joseph's mistress seemed to ruin him, yet her scheming placed him in safety. His brothers sold him, yet that removed him from those who hated him. God's Providence often uses the very things that hurt us to become our benefit. So when we pray for protection, let us ask not merely for escape but for courage, holiness, and a clear conscience. That is the strong protection no enemy can take away.

For breakthrough, ask that the Lord break the power of sin and fear in you and in all who are in need. Many speak of peace and safety while living insensible amid evils. We must not be like that. The strong soldier not only stands himself but also protects his comrade. Therefore pray also for others, and give heed to the Scriptures, which the Holy Spirit has preserved for our safety. I will ask the Lord to grant you and all in need this true protection and breakthrough: not a life without trials but a faith that stands above them.

It is nothing for the Lord to help, whether the need is great or the ones asking have no power left. So when you ask for extra strong protection and breakthrough, you are not asking too much of Him. You are asking in exactly the right posture: out of need, not out of self-sufficiency.

We often think help depends on numbers or resources, but the Lord does not need a large army. The moment we believe we can manage without Him, we lean on something smaller than His name. The turn comes when we stop asking only, "How can I fix this?" and begin praying, "Help us, O Lord; we rest on You." That is not shameful weakness. Prayer itself is an honest admission that we are poor and needy, and that is where His power meets us.

Let your prayer be specific and urgent. Say, "Make haste, O God, to deliver me. Make haste to help me." Make Him your strong habitation, your rock and fortress. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. Run there continually, not just when the danger is obvious. Bring every hidden fear, every impossible situation, and every person in need under His protection.

And do not let protection remain only a private retreat. Ask God to make you strong in His Word. That is where lasting breakthrough begins. When His people become strong in the knowledge of God, fear loosens its grip and peace takes its place. You want breakthrough for all in need? Pray that their help would not come from frantic schemes, alliances, or human strength alone, but from the Lord who commands deliverance.

Be strong and of good courage, not because you feel strong, but because He is with you. God is not looking for a great army. He is looking for hearts that are fully His. The cry, "Who shall deliver me?" finds its answer through Jesus Christ, and that victory belongs to all who call on His name. Your request is heard. May He surround you and all in need with His protection, and may the breakthrough you seek begin with a deeper resting in Him.
