Protection

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for extra strong protection and breakthrough. The world is indeed a battleground, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we stand firm in the knowledge that our God is a mighty fortress, a shield, and a strong deliverer (Psalm 18:2). We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Heavenly Father, we ask for Your divine protection to surround us and all who are in need. We pray for a hedge of protection, like that which You placed around Job (Job 1:10), to guard our hearts, minds, and bodies from the schemes of the devil. We ask for breakthrough in every area of our lives, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially. We declare that the Spirit of the Lord is not bound, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We command every demonic force to flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also lift up those who may not yet know You as their Lord and Savior. Father, we pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We pray for breakthrough in marriages, that husbands and wives would love and honor one another as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). We pray for godly spouses for those who are seeking marriage, that they would find a partner who shares their faith and commitment to You. We rebuke any spirit of fornication or adultery, and we pray for purity in all relationships, that they would honor You in every way.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over our families, our communities, and our nations. We pray against any form of evil, violence, or corruption, and we ask for Your righteousness to prevail. We declare that Your kingdom come, and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re standing with you in this, asking for God’s strong protection and for the kind of breakthrough that shifts things, not just for yourself but for all those you’re carrying in your heart right now. Thank you for letting us pray alongside you.

When the need feels that urgent, it’s easy to become anxious, watching for signs of change. But we’ve found that protection often works in quiet, unseen ways, like a shield that covers us even when we don’t feel it. And breakthrough sometimes comes not all at once, but in small, steady steps of courage or clarity. So we’re praying that God holds you steady while he works, and that you’d sense his presence right where you are.

One practical thing that helps us is to speak out loud, in simple words, where we specifically need protection, our thoughts, our relationships, our coming and going, and then deliberately release those things into God’s hands for that day. It doesn’t make the trouble vanish, but it anchors our trust somewhere real and keeps us from trying to carry it all alone. You might also invite a couple of trusted friends to pray with you this week, just to help lift the load.

Lord Jesus, we come with this request for protection and breakthrough. We don’t know all the details, but you do. Surround this one with your peace that guards hearts and minds. Guard them from whatever threatens, and open a way where things feel stuck, for them and for everyone on their heart. Give them courage to keep trusting, and let them see your faithfulness in tangible ways. In your name, amen.

Strong tribulation calls for strong consolation, and that consolation is not dependent upon bodily health, nor upon the excitement of public service, nor upon favorable circumstances. It is a consolation that can deal with outward trials when poverty stares a man in the face, when bankruptcy threatens, when the young lions lack and suffer hunger. This is the strong meat set upon the table for full-grown saints, those who have learned to treat God as God, giving glory to Him through a faith that does not waver.

You ask for extra strong protection, and well you may, for we have a strong man armed keeping his palace, and his goods are in peace until a stronger than he comes upon him. That stronger One is Christ, armed with almightiness, able to save to the uttermost all who come unto God by Him. Your past sins, your natural corruptions, your evil habits grown so strong, these are not the real difficulty. The Lord Jesus has driven out the strong one, and He will keep His palace. He has charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways, for they need protection in all their ways. This protection is perpetual as well as personal.

But remember, the strong consolation derived from the oath of God depends very much upon your faith. What is the consolation of a promise if you do not believe it? Be strong in faith, giving glory to God. Treat Him like God. Be full of expectation, looking for blessings, expecting prayers to be answered and promises to be fulfilled. He who travels on the King’s Highway is under the King’s protection, but he who takes to byroads must protect himself. Console and cheer others by the exhibition of confidence and serenity worked in you by strong faith. God has said it and sworn it, there is your strong consolation. Upon those two strong pillars let your comfort rest, and you shall find the breakthrough you seek, not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The protection you ask for is not secured by many words or a fleeting petition, but by a mind anchored in the Scriptures and a heart cleansed of wrath. Do not imagine that God stands at a distance, needing to be won over by lengthy appeals. The High Priest over us ever lives to make intercession. He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, not once or occasionally, but continually. In every moment of danger, in every need for a breakthrough, His intercession does not cease. Why then do you tremble as though you were orphaned, or as though the Commander had left the field? He is at hand, abiding unconquerable, and He has already furnished you with strong arms.

But this armor must be taken up. There is a hard warfare at hand, and you require a noble spirit and a resolute purpose. The body is not evil, but it may be made an arm of righteousness, and so you must wield it. Do not say in your heart, "Whence shall we have so many loaves in a wilderness?" That is the reasoning of the disciples before the miracle, who failed to grasp that the One who asked them to feed the multitude was bringing them to an urgent need of entreating Him. The breakthrough you seek often waits on that very recognition: that you have no resource in yourself, and that all supply must come from His hand. He does not need you, but He made you, and He will provide.

Observe also that no member of the body can say to another, "I have no need of you." You pray for "all in need," and rightly so. The eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of thee," nor the head to the feet. The weaker parts are necessary and enjoy greater honor. So your protection and breakthrough are bound up with the needs of others. You do not fight alone. The very prayers you lift for others become a shield for your own soul. But take heed: lift up holy hands without wrath and doubting. For if you make intercession to God while harbouring the venom of anger, you thrust the sword into yourself and provoke Him whom you should appease.

The seal of true apostleship is a life transformed, a letter of commendation written on the heart. Therefore, do not seek a sign as the world does, but let your steadfast trust be your epistle to all who watch. Many will come in His name, claiming to offer security and breakthroughs through other means. Be not deceived. Stand fast, obey the Commander, and remember that He who raiseth the dead as He will is the very One who intercedes for you. No hostile power, no barren wilderness, no weakness of your own frame can withstand the One who ever lives. In that confidence, go forward. The strong protection you seek is already granted to those who come unto God by Him.
