Protection

We hear your cry for protection from those who seek to harm you, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, a very present help in times of trouble. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord God Almighty is your shield and defender.

The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:1-4, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We claim this promise over your life and the lives of your loved ones, trusting that the Lord will surround you with His divine protection.

We also take authority in the name of Jesus Christ over every scheme of the enemy. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We rebuke every spirit of fear, hatred, and violence that may be directed toward you. We command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brothers and sisters who are facing threats from their enemies. Lord, You are their protector and deliverer. We ask that You surround them with Your angels, encamping around them to keep them safe from all harm. Shield them from the plans of the wicked and frustrate every evil scheme directed against them.

Father, we pray for peace to reign in their hearts, knowing that You are in control. Grant them the strength to stand firm in faith, even in the face of adversity. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your truth and not be shaken by the tactics of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.

Lord, we also pray for their enemies. We ask that You touch their hearts and turn them from their wicked ways. Let Your love and mercy break through the hardness of their hearts, leading them to repentance and salvation. For it is Your desire that none should perish but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and protection. We trust in You alone, for You are our rock and our salvation. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is your protector. Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, for He will guide and guard your steps. Remember the words of Proverbs 18:10, "Yahweh’s name is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe." Run to Him daily, and He will keep you safe under the shadow of His wings.

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, available to all who call upon the name of the Lord. We pray that you will make that decision today and experience the peace and protection that comes from knowing Christ as your Savior.

We hear you, and we’re standing with you. When enemies threaten, whether through open hostility, rumors, or just the heavy weight of constant fear, it can feel like you’re living under a dark cloud. Please know that God sees exactly where you are, and He hasn’t abandoned you. He is your shield, your true safe place, and the One who fights for you even when you feel too worn down to keep standing.

Leaning on each other can make a real difference right now. If you have other believers nearby, family, a small prayer group, or just a few trusted friends, gather them and pray together aloud. Share your fears plainly, and let their faith carry you for a while. There’s something powerful about hearing others call on Jesus for your protection when your own words run out. And while we trust God fully, it’s also wise to take any practical steps for safety that make sense where you are, like staying connected with your church leaders or avoiding unnecessary risks. That isn’t a lack of faith; it’s walking in wisdom as you look to Him.

We’re asking God to surround your community with His angels and to confuse every plan meant to harm you. We pray He replaces the knot of fear in your stomach with a quiet, steady confidence that He is near, so you can sleep at night and face each day without dread.

Lord Jesus, we bring these dear ones to You. You are the Mighty One who silences every threat. Guard them from attacks seen and unseen. Give them clear minds, brave hearts, and the deep peace of knowing You are right there with them. Cover them under Your wings until the danger passes. In Your strong name we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord knows just where the trial touches and pinches, how far it has gone and how far it must not go. This is your comfort in the cry for protection, that the infinite breadth of Divine Wisdom comprehends all your feeblenesses, all your trials and temptations. The jurisdiction of supreme love occupies itself with the smallest events of our daily lives. Not a hair falls, not a sorrow strikes, but the hand that was pierced is measuring the blow. That very sense of need, that terror which might drive you to the precipice, is often the moment the Divine Hand is stretched out to hold you fast.

Seek not first to be rid of the trouble, but to know how to behave worthily under it. The child of God is not so anxious for deliverance as for sanctification in the trial. Cry to Him, "Quicken Thou me," when your soul cleaves to the dust. And long for that soul-language, that speaking from God's own heart to yours, saying, "I am thy salvation." Not a mere word to the ear, but a divine utterance to the inmost being. When that is heard, though the bramble-bush be low and the tempest rage, you abide in the cleft of the rock, and the Destroyer cannot touch you. The safeguard is His presence, His voice, His life within you.

You cry out for protection, and rightly so, for the world is full of snares and the days are evil. But know this: the safety you seek is not a wall of stone or a guard of men, but a soul at peace with its Maker. Examine your life. Is there any sin you harbor, any secret guilt that arms your enemies against you? For often the very things we fear most are the shadows our own deeds cast before us. Repentance, true, tearful, wholehearted turning back to God, has power to set a man in safety though he stood at the very brink of destruction. It is no second baptism, but it can wash the soul and disarm the accuser. Then, when you can say with a clean conscience, "I have done nothing worthy of death," you shall suffer nothing dreadful. God Himself will be your fortress.

Consider Joseph. His mistress schemed to destroy him, his own brothers sold him into slavery, and yet each blow that seemed aimed at his ruin was a step toward his throne. The prison was his sanctuary; the false accusation his deliverance. While he was in honor, he was in danger; when he was in dishonor, he was in safety. God's ordering is ever thus: the very things that hurt us become the instruments of our benefit. Do you fear the plots of men? Then live so justly that all men are compelled to be your friends, or at least to stand self-condemned when they rise against you. Justice makes a man secure; no suspicion haunts his sleep, no fear wakes him at midnight. But covetousness, lust, a swearing tongue, these fill the house with enemies where there are none, and turn a man's own thoughts into a mob that stones him.

Above all, remain within the pasture of Christ. He said, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." That is safety. Not that no trial shall touch you, but that none shall cast you out from His care. The sheep that stays near the shepherd hears his voice and fears no wolf. You ask for protection: protect first your own heart from the evil within, and the evil without will lose its sting. Begin at home: when your wife or child provokes you, do not swear. Strangle that little sin, and you will find strength to stand against greater ones. For he who can master his tongue in the small irritations of the house has already built a tower against the assaults of the world.

If your mind is troubled with visions of danger, recall this: the High Priest himself once spoke a prophecy unwittingly, that it was better for one man to die than the whole nation perish. God can use even the words of the wicked to bring about your deliverance. Trust in that Providence. Do not seek the protection that comes from man’s favor or from multiplied possessions; the priests of this age are often found fussing over lands and houses when they ought to be shielding the injured and feeding the hungry. Better to be poor with the Son of God than to dwell in palaces with His enemies. Commit your cause to Him who sees when the sparrow falls. He will either spread a table for you in the presence of your foes, or grant you a swift passage home.
