We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. Your acknowledgment of His authority is a powerful declaration, for the Word tells us, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We take hold of this truth together, knowing that no weapon formed against you or your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
The pain, hurdles, and medical challenges you’ve endured are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and promises to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your hearts, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy may plot harm, but the Lord works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We declare that every assignment of darkness against your family is dismantled in Jesus’ name.
We also recognize that spiritual warfare requires spiritual armor. We pray that you and your family would daily put on the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11-17). We bind every spirit of infirmity, oppression, and revenge in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall stand (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a family of believers, lifting up this dear brother/sister and their family. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask You to surround them with Your angels, encamping around them for protection (Psalm 34:7). Break every chain of sickness, fear, and oppression that has sought to bind them. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life over every area of their bodies and circumstances.
Father, we ask for Your peace to flood their hearts and minds, guarding them in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith to trust in Your promises, even when the battle feels long. Remind them that You are the God who parts seas, shuts the mouths of lions, and raises the dead, nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We stand in agreement with them, declaring that this season of trial will not overcome them but will instead be used to display Your glory and faithfulness.
Lord, we also ask that You reveal any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Search their hearts and lead them in Your everlasting way (Psalm 139:23-24). If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that needs to be confessed, grant them the courage to repent and receive Your cleansing (1 John 1:9). Let Your light expose every hidden thing, and let Your love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We thank You, Father, that You are fighting for them even now. We declare victory in Jesus’ name, for the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). May they walk in the confidence that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We trust You to turn their mourning into dancing and their sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. This trial is not the end of your story, it is the refining fire that prepares you for the testimony He is writing. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Ephesians 1:19-20). You are not alone; we stand with you, and the Lord of Hosts fights for you.
