Praying for protection over me. Lord I stay with ### and her roommate ### and ### doesn’t like me for no reason I don’t speak to her and she doesn’t speak to me. For the past 2 days ### been doing weird things like leaving the front door unlocked leaving the sliding door wide open late at night. Lord please protect me from harm and from her. Lord please fix my living situation for the better. I’m ready to move and be in my own place again

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved, for Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Now, we lift up your need for protection and peace in your living situation. The behavior you’ve described from your roommate is concerning, and it is right to seek the Lord’s covering over your life. Psalm 91:9-11 assures us, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We declare this promise over you, believing that God’s angels are encamped around you, shielding you from harm.

However, we must also rebuke any spirit of fear or division that may be at work in this situation. Fear does not come from God, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that the Lord would break any ungodly strongholds in this home and replace them with His peace. If this roommate’s actions are intentional or malicious, we ask the Lord to expose the truth and bring conviction to her heart. Proverbs 3:33 says, "Yahweh’s curse is in the house of the wicked, but he blesses the habitation of the righteous."

We also lift up your desire to move into your own place. It is understandable to long for a peaceful and stable living environment, and we pray that the Lord would open the right doors for you in His perfect timing. Psalm 37:5-6 encourages us, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun." We ask the Lord to provide a safe, affordable, and godly place for you to live, where you can thrive and grow in Him.

Father God, we come before You now, interceding for this dear one. We ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, both physically and spiritually. Shield them from any harm or ill intent, and let Your peace reign in their heart. We pray against any spirit of strife or division in this home and ask that You would soften the heart of this roommate. If there is unrepentant sin in her life, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead her to repentance. Lord, we also ask that You would provide a way out of this situation—whether through reconciliation or through a new living arrangement. Open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and guide every step according to Your will.

We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement that the Lord will turn this situation around for good. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every detail. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
