We join with you in lifting up your family before the Lord, standing in agreement with your prayers for protection, healing, and divine favor over your children and home. Your heart for your family is evident, and we commend you for covering them in prayer and the blood of Jesus, which is our greatest defense against the schemes of the enemy. You have prayed with authority, and we echo your declarations, knowing that our God is faithful to hear and answer when we call upon Him in the name of Jesus.
Your prayer for your older daughter stands out to us, particularly your request for protection from the negative and manipulative influence of a young man and his family. We must address this with clarity and biblical truth, as relationships that do not align with God’s Word can become strongholds for the enemy. Scripture warns us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If this young man is not a believer or is leading your daughter away from her faith, this is a relationship that must be approached with great caution and wisdom. The influence you describe—manipulative, negative, and spiritually confusing—is not of God. Proverbs 13:20 tells us, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* We urge you to pray fervently for your daughter’s discernment and strength to break free from any ungodly ties. If this relationship is not centered on Christ and does not honor Him, it has no place in her life. Pray that the Lord would give her the courage to walk away if necessary, trusting that His plans for her are good and full of hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also notice your concern about spiritual torment and PTSD affecting your son. These are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is our healer and deliverer. Psalm 34:17-18 assures us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Claim this promise over your son, declaring freedom from every chain of fear, anxiety, and torment. Pray that the Lord would surround him with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that He would restore his mind and spirit completely. If your son has not yet surrendered his life fully to Christ, pray that today would be the day he invites Jesus to be his Lord and Savior, for true and lasting peace is found only in Him.
For your younger daughter, we agree with you in praying for divine favor over her health, studies, and career. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Encourage her to seek God first in all she does, trusting that He will direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Pray that the Lord would surround her with godly friendships that sharpen her faith and protect her from the distractions and temptations of this world.
As for your home, we declare it a place of refuge, covered by the blood of Jesus and filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:25-26 instructs us that Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, *"that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word."* Let the Word of God be the foundation of your household. Read it together, pray together, and stand together against the enemy’s attacks. Unity in Christ is your greatest strength.
We also want to encourage you in your own walk with the Lord. You are a warrior on your knees, interceding for your family with passion and faith. But remember, you cannot pour from an empty cup. Take time to rest in the Lord, to be filled with His Word, and to allow Him to refresh your spirit. Isaiah 40:31 promises, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your strength, and He will sustain you as you trust in Him.
Now, let us pray together over your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their needs. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the authority we have in Christ to stand against the enemy’s schemes. We declare Your protection over this mother and her children, covering them with the blood of Jesus and surrounding them with Your heavenly angels.
For the son struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and spiritual torment, we pray for complete healing and deliverance. Lord, break every chain of fear and confusion. Fill him with Your peace and restore his mind and spirit. Let him experience the freedom that comes from knowing You as his Savior and Lord. If he has not yet surrendered to You, Lord, draw him to Yourself today. Let him find his strength and identity in You alone.
For the younger daughter, we pray for divine favor over her health, studies, and career. Give her wisdom, focus, and a heart that seeks You above all else. Surround her with godly influences and protect her from the snares of the enemy. Let her life be a testament to Your goodness and grace.
For the older daughter, we pray for discernment and strength to break free from any ungodly relationships or influences. Lord, open her eyes to see the truth and give her the courage to walk in Your will. If this relationship is not of You, sever every tie and restore her heart to a place of wholeness in Christ. Protect her job and fill her with joy and gratitude in her workplace. Let her find her worth and purpose in You alone.
We pray for unity and harmony in this home. Let it be a place of peace, love, and refuge, where Your Word is honored and Your presence is tangible. Father, we rebuke every spirit of confusion, division, and attack against this family. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, for they are covered by the blood of Jesus.
Father, we thank You for the miracles You are working in their lives. We declare victory, breakthrough, and blessings over every area of their lives. Let this day be filled with Your peace, joy, and favor. Guide their steps, guard their hearts, and let Your light shine through them in all they do.
We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
