We join you in lifting up this heartbreaking situation to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He hears your cries and sees the pain and division that have invaded your family. Your love for your daughter is evident, and we stand with you in praying for her deliverance from the deceptive influences that have taken hold of her heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus came to give life abundantly, and He has the power to break every chain of manipulation and control.
The Scriptures warn us of the dangers of unequally yoked relationships and the snares of those who would lead us away from godly wisdom. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we are reminded, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* This young man’s behavior—marked by manipulation, dishonesty, and a lack of respect for your family—is not of God. His influence has become a stumbling block, pulling your daughter away from the truth she was raised to know. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* This is not a relationship that honors the Lord, and it is clear that his presence is causing harm not only to your daughter but to the entire family.
We also see the financial and emotional toll this has taken on your household. The Bible teaches us to be wise stewards of what God has entrusted to us, and it is not His will for your daughter to be financially entangled with someone who is dishonest and controlling. Proverbs 13:20 says, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* This young man’s actions reveal a heart that is not submitted to God, and his influence is leading your daughter away from the wisdom and protection of her family.
We must also address the idolization your daughter has placed upon this young man and his family. Anything or anyone that takes the place of God in our hearts becomes an idol, and idolatry is a sin that separates us from the Lord. Exodus 20:3 commands, *"You shall have no other gods before me."* Your daughter’s loyalty should first be to Christ, then to her family, not to a man who is leading her astray. The Lord calls us to honor our fathers and mothers, as stated in Ephesians 6:2-3: *"‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.’"* Her current path is one of rebellion, and we pray that the Holy Spirit will convict her heart and turn her back to the truth.
Let us pray together for your daughter’s eyes to be opened to the deception she is under. Pray that the Lord will remove the scales from her eyes, just as He did for Saul in Acts 9:18, so she may see this young man for who he truly is—a tool of the enemy to bring division and destruction. Pray that she will turn away from this ungodly influence and return to the safety and wisdom of her family and, most importantly, to her relationship with Christ.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, crying out for this family. You are a God of justice, truth, and deliverance, and we ask You to intervene powerfully in this situation. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of manipulation, deception, and control that has taken hold of this young man and has influenced your daughter. Break every ungodly soul tie and sever every connection that is not of You. Remove this young man from her life, Lord, and return him to his parents, where he may receive the discipline and help he needs. Do not allow him to have any further access to your daughter’s heart, mind, or finances. Close every door that he has used to bring harm to this family.
Lord, we pray for your daughter’s heart to be softened and her eyes to be opened. Convict her of the sin of idolatry and rebellion, and draw her back to You with cords of love. Remind her of the truth she has been taught and restore in her a spirit of honor and respect for her family. Surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard her mind and heart in Christ Jesus. Let her see the danger she is in and give her the strength to walk away from this ungodly relationship.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, as You have promised in Isaiah 54:17. Restore unity, peace, and respect in this home, Lord. Let Your presence be a wall of fire around this family, protecting them from further harm. Give this mother the wisdom, strength, and patience to navigate this trial with grace and faith. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may speak Your truth in love and stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.
Father, we ask that You would expose every hidden motive and bring to light every deceitful plan. Let this young man’s true nature be revealed, not only to your daughter but to all who have been deceived by his actions. Bring conviction upon his heart, Lord, and lead him to repentance. If it is Your will, use this situation to draw him to Yourself, but remove his influence from this family immediately.
We trust You, Lord, to fight this battle on behalf of this family. You are their defender, their protector, and their deliverer. We thank You in advance for the victory You will bring, for we know that You are faithful and just. Strengthen this family in their faith, and let them see Your hand moving mightily in their lives.

Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is with you in this battle. Continue to pray without ceasing, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. Keep speaking the truth in love to your daughter, and cover her in prayer daily. The Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and we believe He will bring restoration and peace to your family. Do not lose heart, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God, and stand firm in His promises. He will not fail you.
