We join with you in petitioning God for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you, all in need, and ourselves. We stand on the power of God's Word, "be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might" (Ephesians 6:10). "Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11). We follow this scripture for that strong protection.
Let us pray specifically for the fire of the Holy Spirit to fill us and all others asking for it. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. This is the only name by which we can be saved and our prayers answered. "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). There is only one way to salvation and that is through Jesus Christ.
"He said, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth" (Acts 1:8). This prayer is an opportunity to remind everyone that the power of the Holy Spirit is given to us for a purpose: to be witnesses of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to use the protection and power of the Holy Spirit to share the Gospel boldly.
"For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke any fear that may be hindering you from living boldly for Christ. Remember, "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and breakthrough for all in need. We pray for the fire of the Holy Spirit to consume us. We ask that you fill us with Your power and boldness so we live as witnesses of Jesus Christ, and we ask that you do the same for all others asking for this.
We pray for Your spiritual armor to be upon each one of us, guarding us against the schemes of the devil. "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked" (Ephesians 6:16). Grant us the wisdom to stand firm in the faith. "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong" (1 Corinthians 16:13).
May Your Holy Spirit fill us with the power to live lives of holiness and service to God. In Jesus Christ name we pray.
