We are glad to join with you in prayer for strong protection and guidance. We stand on the promise in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Firstly, let us encourage you to be hidden in Christ. This is only possible because of how close our relationship to Him can be. As believers, we can rest in His protection, knowing that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Be encouraged by the word that He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
We also ask you, are you in Jesus? It is only in His name that we have access to the promises of God. It is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved. Since Jesus is the only way to God, it is important that we abide in Him. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Are you currently in Jesus? If you are not sure or if you have never accepted Jesus into your life as Lord and Savior, this is the perfect time to do so. We are promised protection and guidance through our relationship with Christ. There is no other way.
We pray for you as follows.
We ask that you, dear Heavenly Father, will guard your child against the evil one. We pray that you will guide them in your truth because you are the only true God. Guide them in the way of your commands and to be with them always. We know that your name will be glorified. As it says in John 17:15-17, "Not as the world gives, I give to you. Men, keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world." We ask that you will send your holy angels to guard over your child. We are promised in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, And delivers them." We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ and for His sake, Amen.
