We are glad to join with you in prayer for your day and for God's protection upon your life. We stand on the promise in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We pray for Your divine protection over their life, shielding them from all evil and evil tongues. Guide their steps today, and help them to walk in Your will and Your ways. Let Your Holy Spirit lead them to be a shining light to everyone they meet. We know that Your Word has clearly shown that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12 WEB. We are not ignorant of the devil's devices! Therefore, we put on the whole armor of God, that they are able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We pray all of this in the powerful, life-changing name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Remember, as a child of God, you have authority over the enemy, as stated in Luke 10:19 WEB, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you." Stand firm in this authority and trust God to protect you always.
Lastly, we noticed that the original prayer request did not contain the powerful name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father. In John 14:6, Jesus declared, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12. That is why the Bible says in Philippians 2:9-11: Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
