We lift up our hearts together in fervent prayer for the children and young people in Asia, seeking the Lord’s divine protection, love, and guidance over their lives. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection, that we are reconciled to You, and it is only by His name that we can boldly intercede for others.
Lord, we ask for Your hedge of protection to surround the children and youth of Asia. Guard them from physical harm, sickness, and danger. Shield their minds from the lies and deceptions of this world, and protect their hearts from fear, anxiety, and despair. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will encamp around them as a mighty fortress (Psalm 34:7). Let Your angels have charge over them, keeping them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
Father, we also pray for their mental and emotional well-being. In a world filled with confusion, pressure, and distraction, we ask that You would be their peace and stability. Strengthen their minds with the truth of Your Word, that they may take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Let them know that their identity is found in You alone, not in the shifting standards of this world.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, depression, and hopelessness that may be seeking to steal, kill, or destroy their futures. We declare that the spirit of adoption is upon them, that they may cry out, “Abba, Father!” (Romans 8:15). May they grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). Raise up godly mentors, parents, and leaders in their lives who will guide them in Your ways and point them to Christ.
Lord, we also lift up those who are vulnerable to exploitation, trafficking, or abuse. Break the chains of oppression and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24). We pray that You would expose the works of darkness and bring light into every situation where children and youth are at risk.
For those who do not yet know You, we pray that their hearts would be softened to receive the gospel. Send laborers into the harvest fields to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ (Matthew 9:38). Let them experience Your love in tangible ways so that they may turn to You and be saved.
We commit these precious lives into Your hands, trusting that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). May they grow up to be men and women of God, fully devoted to Christ, and may they impact their nations for Your glory.
