Protection, Strength and Safety

We join you in lifting up your older daughter before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing this request in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the Father.
We are comforted knowing that the Lord is our keeper and protector wherever we go. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
We also pray for her strength and renewal after such a long and tiring day with delays, trusting in the promise of Isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. May the Lord sustain her and grant her peace as she travels.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus name and ask for Your hand of protection over this precious daughter tonight. We ask that You guide her flight safely home, that You calm any turbulence and grant skill and alertness to the pilots and crew. Lord, surround the aircraft with Your angels and bring her home without harm. We also ask that You pour out Your strength upon her, renew her energy, calm her heart from the stress of delays, and give her rest. Let her feel Your presence and peace throughout the journey and bring her safely into the arms of those who love her. We trust her into Your loving care and thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We join you in bringing your daughter before the throne of grace even now, asking the Lord to keep her in all her ways.
How fitting is your prayer for strength and safety, for human strength will spend itself in due time, especially after a long day and wearying delays. Yet it is written, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. We pray that as she waits, even in travel, the Lord Himself would renew her strength, restore her with rest in Him, and grant her fresh energy for the journey home.
We ask also for that perfect peace which belongs to those whose minds are stayed upon Him because they trust in Him. Though the skies may be uncertain and the hours long, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus and to trust His keeping is rest. May she know that filling peace which comes by believing, a peace that guards the heart while thronging duties press.
And we plead the promise that He shall give His angels charge over His people to keep them in all their ways. We pray for angelic protection over her flight this night, for safety in her going out and her coming in, for a smooth passage and a joyful return home kept by the hand of Providence.
