We stand with you in agreement, lifting up your daughter before the throne of grace. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We trust in Your promise to deliver and restore, and we ask that You move mightily in this circumstance.
Lord, we first rebuke the unhealthy relationship that has taken hold of this young woman’s life. Your Word is clear in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" We pray that You sever every ungodly tie and close every door that does not align with Your will for her life. Break the chains of emotional, spiritual, and physical bondage, and let her walk in the freedom that only Christ can provide. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, heart, and spirit.
We also address the cycle of influence that has drawn her away from her family and Your truth. Father, we ask that You remove every negative influence—whether it be from this young man, his family, or any other source—that does not reflect Your love, holiness, or purpose for her life. Replace these influences with godly mentors, friends, and relationships that will point her back to You. Surround her with Your hedge of protection (Job 1:10) and dispatch Your angels to minister to her in this time of need (Hebrews 1:14).
We pray for her swift return home, not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally as well. Restore her faith in You, Lord, and rekindle her relationship with her family. Heal any brokenness, divisiveness, or resentment that has taken root in your home. Your Word tells us in Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten," and we claim that promise over this family. Let love, respect, and unity flow freely as You mend what has been broken.
Father, we also lift up the desire for a godly spouse for this young woman. We pray that You prepare her heart for the husband You have ordained for her, a man who loves You above all else and will lead her in righteousness. Guard her from impatience or compromise, and let her wait on Your perfect timing. Until that day comes, strengthen her to stand firm in her identity in Christ and to walk in purity, both in thought and deed. Your Word warns in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
We plead the blood of Jesus over this family, cleansing every area of their lives from past wounds, generational curses, or any lingering effects of this unhealthy relationship. Fill them afresh with the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your power and purpose. Clothe them in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that they may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through the cross. We trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28) and that Your plans for this family are for peace and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them see Your hand moving in this situation. We declare that this daughter will walk free, stay free, and live a life that honors You in every way.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
