I hear the anguish in your prayer, and I want to stand with you before the throne of grace. The battle you describe is not merely against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces that seek to ensnare your daughter. And in the heart of every struggle like this, the deepest need is always a right relationship with God. Our human connections can never be untangled until the vertical axis of life is realigned. That is where the true breaking of chains begins.

What you long to see, that moment when her eyes open to the deception and exhaustion, will not come simply through a change of circumstances. It comes when her soul grows weary of a half-hearted, compromised walk and she rediscovers what it means to love Jesus more than anything else. The Lord is not interested in a legal, rule-keeping religion. He seeks a loving, intimate relationship where she knows Him as her Father, her provider, her shield. When that love grows cold, the door swings open for other voices to fill the void, and the very people she should flee can begin to feel like home.

That is why I want to gently encourage you to focus your own prayer even more on her heart’s return to that first love. Ask the Father not only to break the toxic bond with this young man and his mother, but to break her heart’s stubborn independence and replace it with a fierce hunger for righteousness. Pray that she would be brought to the end of her own resources, so that out of that desperation she cries out for the living God and finds that He alone satisfies. When a person is captivated by the beauty of Jesus, the false obligations and ungodly influences that once held them lose their power. They cannot stand against the glorious weight of His loving presence.

And do not underestimate the influence of your own steadfast, praying love. The Scriptures show us how a mother’s influence can be a force for tremendous good or for terrible ruin. That other woman has overstepped, but your faithful intercession is a seed the Lord can grow into something far greater. Every prayer you have lifted is a mustard seed of faith, and in His timing it can become a tree that shelters your daughter’s restored life. So do not grow weary. God often works by preserving a faithful remnant, one soul from a city, two from a family, and He will not abandon your child.

I join my faith with yours. We trust that the Lord fights for you, that He will frustrate every plan of the enemy to divide your family, and that He will gently but firmly lead your daughter back to the safety of His will. May the Holy Spirit sweep away the fog of deception and awaken in her a clear, compelling vision of who she truly is, a daughter of the Most High, bought with precious blood and called to walk in freedom. And may your home become a beacon of that relentless love, drawing her and others to the grace found only in Christ.
