Dear God:

Please watch over my daughter and her friend ,wherever she may be. Surround them with Your protection, keep them safe from all harm and danger, and guide their steps wherever they go. Give them peace, strength, and wisdom, and place Your angels around them day and night.
May Your loving presence be with them, protect them, and bring them safely home.

We join with you in lifting up your daughter and her friend before the throne of grace, trusting in the mighty protection of our Lord. The Scriptures assure us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is their shepherd, and they shall not want; He makes them lie down in green pastures and leads them beside still waters (Psalm 23:1-2).

We pray that You, O Lord, would indeed surround them with Your heavenly host, commanding Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Grant them wisdom and discernment in every decision they make, that their steps may be ordered by You (Proverbs 3:5-6). Strengthen them with Your might, that they may walk in Your ways and not grow weary (Isaiah 40:31).

Father, we also pray for their spiritual protection. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, shielded from the lies and deceptions of the enemy (Ephesians 6:16). Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or confusion that may attempt to take hold of them, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful to watch over them and bring them safely home. Your love never fails, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We trust in Your unfailing care and commit them into Your hands, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Your prayer for your daughter and her companion has been laid before the Lord and we join you in pleading for them at the mercy seat.

We have asked the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, that He would watch over them wherever they may be, keep them from all harm and danger, and guide their steps. We have prayed that He would place His gracious charge over them day and night, for heaven and earth may pass away but His word shall never pass away, and when His people need keeping He can give His angels charge concerning them.

We have prayed also for that better protection which is found only in Christ. There is a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother, and we have asked that each of them may know Him as such. He loved His own before there was any time, and gave Himself for sinners, bearing their sins and making intercession for transgressors. Apart from His blood there is no hope, and apart from the Spirit's work there is no life. Here we stand and here we are safe. We have therefore prayed not only for bodily safety and for their being brought home in peace, but that they may have wisdom and strength to walk in the ways that are pleasing to the Lord, in purity and truth, and that whatever friendship they share may be ordered by that wisdom which comes from above.

May the Lord give them peace that keeps the heart from palpitating in troublous times, and strength to wait calmly upon Him. May He hold them up that they may be safe, and lead and guide them as those who need His hand at every step. We commend them to Him who has all power in heaven and earth and who lays it out for the welfare of His people.

Be comforted that the Lord hears the cry of those who call upon Him. Continue to cast your burden upon Him who is the poor man's Friend and the sinner's Friend, and who never forsakes those who trust Him.

We will continue to pray that the Lord's loving presence be with them, preserve them, and grant you joy in seeing them kept by His grace.
