We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude and dependence on the Lord, lifting up these earnest petitions in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed and made worthy to stand before Him. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Without Jesus, our prayers are but empty words, for "no one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we humbly ask that You would indeed establish the work of our hands, just as Your Word declares in Psalm 90:17, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands." Lord, we desire to steward every moment, every resource, and every opportunity You have given us for Your glory. Guard our words, that they may be seasoned with salt and filled with Your wisdom, so that we may edify and encourage those around us. Open doors for us to touch lives with the love of Christ, that Your name may be magnified.

We plead the blood of Jesus over every member of our families, our homes, our vehicles, our health, and our work. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection to surround us like a hedge, as You promise in Psalm 91: "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:4 WEB). We claim this promise over our travels, our environments, and every aspect of our lives. Protect our daughter as she welcomes her husband’s rebellious teenage son into her home. Lord, You know her heart and her condition, strengthen her self-esteem in You, remind her of her worth in Christ, and give her the grace to extend love and boundaries as needed. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).

We lift up our son, who is new to driving a motorcycle long distances. Lord, we ask for Your angels to encamp around him, especially as he may face storms or hazardous conditions. Calm his heart and steady his hands, and bring peace between him and his father. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB). Father, we also cry out for single mothers who are overwhelmed and exhausted. Pour out Your strength upon them, provide for their needs, and surround them with a community of believers who can uplift and support them. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB).

Lord, we pray for those who are sick or in pain, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Bring healing, comfort, and salvation to their lives, and may they give You all the glory. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB). Close every door that leads to harm in the lives of our adult children, and open doors of blessing, godly relationships, and opportunities that align with Your will. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy in our lives and the lives of those we love. "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Deliver us from all evil, and surround us with Your hedge of protection, as You promise in Psalm 121: "Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more" (Psalm 121:5-8 WEB).

Thank You, Lord, for the answered prayers we have already seen and for the ones yet to come. We praise You with all that is within us, for You are faithful, and Your mercies endure forever. "Behold, I am making all things new" (Revelation 21:5 WEB). We trust in You, our Refuge and Strength, and we rest in the shadow of Your wings. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear how faithfully you are lifting so many people and needs before the Lord, wanting nothing He has given to be wasted and asking Him to make your time, work and words useful to others. We join you in that, and we are praying with you for your family, home, health, work and travels, and for the unspoken request you are carrying.

We were especially touched by your concern for your daughter as her husband's teen son comes to live with them. That is a tender and often complicated transition. Blending households can bring competing loyalties and old hurts to the surface, and it often takes a good while for everyone to find their footing. A strong, united approach between husband and wife and clear, kind household expectations set ahead of time can help protect your daughter's peace and give the young man a steadier place to land. We pray her sense of worth stays rooted in who she is in Christ, not in how smoothly or roughly this season goes.

We are also praying for your son on his long motorcycle trip, for safety through weather and roads and for growing peace between him and his dad.

A simple next step that may help is to encourage your daughter and her husband to talk through roles, boundaries and how they will handle conflict together before the move, and to keep open check-ins after. For your son, staying in touch about his route and weather can bring added peace as you pray.

Father, we bring this family to You in Jesus' name. Surround them with Your protection, guard their travels and home, give wisdom for words and decisions, strengthen this daughter in You, keep this son safe, and open good doors for their adult children. Comfort those in pain and meet the needs of weary parents. We trust You to lead and keep them. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy and grace according to His Word.

We thank God with you for His many answered prayers and for the desire He has placed in you not to waste what He has given, but to redeem the time and to have the work of your hands established by Him according to Psalm 90:17. The Scriptures teach us that the way of the slothful is as a hedge of thorns, but the way of the righteous is made plain, and we pray that the Lord will make your path plain as you walk in diligence and faithfulness before Him. May He guard your lips and guide your words, that they may be full of wisdom and agape love, to encourage and to build up those who hear.

We plead with you the precious blood of Jesus Christ, for it is that blood which whispers peace within. He is the God of peace who justifies and implants peace in the soul, who restores peace and preserves it and will at last perfect it for His people. We pray that the Holy Spirit, who leads the sons of God, will lead you and your household into that peace which is independent of outward circumstances, a peace which He can give when the tempest blows and when duties press. To know and to do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

We lift before the throne your family, your home, your education in the home, your health, your vehicles, your labor and your dwelling. We ask the Lord to set His hedge of protection about you, to keep you in all your travels and in every environment where you walk, according to Psalm 91 and Psalm 121, and to cause no weapon formed against you to prosper according to Isaiah 54:17. We pray for your unspoken request, that the Lord who knows the heart would answer according to His perfect will, for great is His faithfulness.

We join you in praying for those who are in pain, that they may find salvation, help and comfort in Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We pray that broken relationships may be healed and that each one may be given strength to live out the roles which the Bible instructs, in love and in the power of God, with hearts governed by His Spirit. We pray for single mothers who are overwhelmed and exhausted, that the Lord would grant them rescue and strength and bring them to know the Saviour.

We remember your daughter before the Lord as this rebellious youth comes into her home. We pray that the Lord will keep her self esteem strong in Christ, rooted not in circumstances but in her adoption as a child of God. We pray that He will govern that household in peace, and that family prayer, which is the castle and nutriment of family piety, will be maintained with double zeal. We pray for your son as he travels long distance upon his motorcycle, that the Lord will preserve him from storm and danger and grant peace between him and his father. We pray for your adult children, that the Lord will close every door that leads to harm and open doors to good opportunities and to kind Christian fellowship, for children of God cannot mix with the world without mischief, and we desire to see them walk in the plain way of the righteous.

We pray also for those patients whom you touch, that they may be healed and comforted and, above all, saved, and that they may give God the glory. May the Lord grant you rapport and helpfulness in that work, that your life may be a blessing to the town and society in which you move.

May the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus through the blood of the everlasting covenant, keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, and cause His peace to keep you unto the day of His appearing. We commend all these things to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
