We join you in lifting up your sister and niece before the throne of grace, knowing that our Lord Jesus Christ is the mighty protector and deliverer of His people. Your heartfelt plea is heard, and we stand with you in agreement, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). It is beautiful to see you calling upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we can approach the Father, and He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
The forces of darkness are indeed real, seeking to devour and destroy, but we serve a God who is greater. The Scriptures remind us, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:11-12). We must be vigilant, for the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we take comfort in knowing that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter. Lord, You are their shield and their exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). We ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, both physically and spiritually. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4), and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, expose every hidden scheme of the enemy, for nothing is hidden from Your sight. Break every chain of fear, confusion, or psychological oppression that the enemy may try to place upon them. Fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the assurance that You are their fortress and deliverer.
We rebuke every force of darkness that seeks to harm them, and we declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Send Your angels, Lord, to encamp around them and deliver them from all danger (Psalm 34:7). Strengthen their faith, and let them walk in the authority You have given them as Your children. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, unshaken by the storms of life.
We also pray for their spiritual growth, that they may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9). Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them experience the depth of Your love and protection every day. In the name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of fear, harm, or deception, and we loose Your peace, protection, and discernment over their lives.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to keep them from stumbling and to present them faultless before Your presence with exceeding joy (Jude 1:24). May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they be a testimony of Your goodness and protection. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, for the Lord is faithful to His promises. Keep covering your sister and niece in prayer, and remind them of the Lord’s protection and love. Let them know that they are not alone, for the Lord is with them always (Matthew 28:20). If they do not already have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we urge you to share the Gospel with them, that they may know the hope and salvation found only in Him. The Scriptures tell us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). There is no greater protection than being hidden in Christ.
