Beloved of All
We join you in prayer for the protection of your peace and joy, and we thank you for sharing this need so honestly.
The Lord Jesus knows the war that presses against you. After His resurrection His first word to His disciples who were surrounded by conflict was Peace be unto you. As Scripture promises, your heart shall rejoice and your joy no man takes from you. That peace and joy are not fleeting feelings but gifts secured by His victory on the cross, where every hindrance was removed and His triumph was made glorious. We pray that you would know that peace deeply now to counterbalance every attack that seeks to steal it.
We pray that God will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and keep your willingness to do good strong and unshaken. The kingdom of God is not about outward things but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. We ask the Lord to fill you with that righteousness and that joy which comes from being united to Him, so that quarrels, fears and the accusations of the enemy lose their power over you.
We pray also that He will clothe you for the continual warfare of this life. Gird your loins with truth and put on righteousness as a breastplate, so that you may stand bold as a lion and not fear the array that is against you. May you be kept close to Him who has made peace between heaven and earth and who now appears in the presence of God for you, as your advocate and propitiation.
May the Lord make you a peacemaker in your own heart and toward others, remembering no evil and resting near to God who delights in such peace. Where the enemy seeks to bring discord and heaviness, may God give you gentleness, unity and a steady hope of the rewards to come.
We ask for grace and peace to be multiplied to you, that your peace would be guarded, your joy restored, and your desire to do good renewed day by day. May the Lord keep you, establish you, and let no one take your joy from you. Amen.
