We join with you in lifting up your precious son to our Heavenly Father, who sees every struggle and hears every cry of His children. Your heart for your son is evident, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to Your throne of grace. We declare that Your Word is true, and we stand on the promise that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around this young man, calming the storms within his mind and heart. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We claim this peace for him, Lord. Let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard his heart and mind.
We rebuke every spiritual attack and negative habit that seeks to disturb his peace. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We plead the blood of Jesus over him, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of anxiety, frustration, and fear in the name of Jesus, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we ask that You bless him with the ability to express his feelings, wants, and needs. Your Word tells us that "the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered" (Romans 8:26). We ask that the Holy Spirit would intercede for him, giving him the words to communicate and the courage to use them. Let him find rest under the shadow of Your wings, free from torment and fear (Psalm 91:1). Fill his dreams with Your comfort, joy, and divine peace, for "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You" (Isaiah 26:3).
We pray for healing in every area of his life—spirit, soul, and body. Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17), and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare healing over his mind, emotions, and body. We ask that You would give him strategies and tools to manage his autism, PTSD, and anxiety in ways that honor You. Surround him with godly mentors, therapists, and friends who will speak life into him and encourage him in his walk with You.
Father, we also pray for you, the parent of this precious child. Parenting a child with unique challenges can be overwhelming, and we ask that You would fill you with Your strength, wisdom, and peace. Remind you daily that You are not alone, for "the Lord is near to all those who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). Give you moments of rest and joy, and let you see the progress and breakthroughs in your son’s life.
We declare that this young man is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that his life has purpose and meaning. We pray that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, if he hasn’t already, and that he would walk in the fullness of the calling You have on his life. Let him be a testimony of Your grace and power, shining Your light in a world that needs to see Your love.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the miracles You are working even now. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan for this young man’s life. Saturate every aspect of his life with Your love, peace, and favor. Let him experience Your presence in tangible ways, and let him know that he is deeply loved by You.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
