The prayer you have offered is full of earnest desire, but let us remember that we must not be careless hearers of the word, for if we hear and do not bear fruit, we are in danger. The talents given to each of us, whether in ability, money, teaching, or protection, are meant for the common advantage. Nothing pleases God more than to live not for ourselves, but for the good of all.
You ask for order and productivity in your home. Know that a house is well organized not only by husband, wife, and children, but by all in it contributing with a willing heart. Even the smallest task, done as unto the Lord and not for human approval, builds up the whole household. The earth brings forth herbs meet for those who dress it, but it is not the work of human hands alone; it receives blessing from God. So your labor in kitchen and home, offered with sincere heart, is made fruitful by His command.
You plead for protection for your son on his motorcycle, for your daughter’s marriage and schooling, and deliverance from all evil. True protection comes not merely from walls or locks, but from the honor shown to one another in the family, as Christ honored His mother even in His last hour, entrusting her to the beloved disciple. He knits hearts together in charity. When you pay due respect and care to each other, you build a hedge of love that guards against many harms. Moreover, the protection spoken of in the Psalms is given to those who walk in righteousness; good works must be present, for faith and knowledge of Scripture profit nothing if we are naked and destitute of holy living.
You long for healing of hearts and broken relationships. See how the Lord Himself made provision for His mother, teaching us to pay more than ordinary respect to family bonds. Where parents do not hinder us spiritually, we must prefer them with all becoming honor. But remember, the causes of strifes and daily revilings often lie in our chasing after worldly cares rather than distributing ourselves to the feeding of the hungry, the protection of the injured, the care of strangers. Let your hearts be occupied with such things, and many breaches will be mended.
You ask for your children to see themselves as God sees them. This begins with you, laboring with them in the Gospel as fellow workers. Commend them to one another and to the Lord, not with words only but with deeds, knowing that whatever good thing each one does, the same shall they receive from Him. So let them be knit together in charity, preferring one another.
Therefore, as you give all glory and praise to God, manifest eagerness not to mar the gain of right faith by vileness of actions. Live brightly, contribute your diligence and protection for the advantage of your neighbor, and do all to the glory of God. Then you may boldly look on Christ, for no happiness can be equal to that. May it come to pass that we all, obtaining what has been asked, live to His glory forever.

Your prayer is a beautiful outpouring of trust and a reminder that every blessing flows from the Lord’s hand. The desire for order, productivity, and healing that you carry is heard by the One who sees our afflictions and remembers us in our need. When Leah felt unloved and cried out in her soul, God not only looked upon her but gave her a son, and she named him "Look, a son." He sees the very places where you long for peace, for a kitchen and home ordered toward excellence, for work completed, and for the generational brokenness to finally lose its grip. He is the God who hears, as Leah again discovered when she named her next son "Hearing," knowing her cry had reached the throne. So bring every detail before Him, trusting that He notices and responds.
For your daughter, I join you in asking for healing in her body and in her work and schooling. Sometimes healing comes in a sudden surge, as the woman felt in the press of the crowd when she touched Jesus’ garment and knew in an instant that she was whole. Yet Scripture also shows us a gradual healing, the only one recorded in that way in Jesus’ ministry, and I believe divine healing is at work even in the slow, natural processes God has established. Whether He touches her in a moment or leads her step by step toward wholeness, know that His power is over every realm, physical, material, and spiritual. The centurion understood authority, that Jesus could simply speak a word and his servant would be healed. Jesus still carries that same authority over any illness, any burden in her marriage, and any threat of abuse. Pray with that confidence, knowing He can shut every door that leads to harm and fling open doors of opportunity and kind, Christian friendships. I also ask that both your daughter and your son would see themselves as God sees them: not as the world or even their own fears define them, but as beloved, adopted children. We are not the begotten Son as Jesus is, but we are sons and daughters by a remarkable choice, born again into a family where the bond runs deeper than blood.
For your son on his motorcycle, I pray the hedge of protection you claimed from Psalm 91 and Psalm 121. The Father sent His word to Jacob to return to his family and promised, "I will be with you." That same promise goes with your son on every road. And as you lift up his future wife, remember that God’s guidance often weaves through ordinary moments, a shepherd arriving at a well at just the right time to meet Rachel. He is preparing both of them, and in due season He will make the connection clear.
Broken hearts and fractured relationships are a heavy sorrow, but Jesus declared a family more lasting than the natural one. When He looked out and said that those who do the will of His Father are His mother and brothers, He was not setting aside human love but showing that in Him, the deepest healing of relationships is possible. As you ask for the ability to love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love one another, you are asking for the very thing that the Spirit births within us. That love is not a legal demand but a loving relationship with the One who cast out the bondwoman and her son so that the children of promise might walk free. He wants your affection, your trust, not religious performance.
As you travel and face the surrounding evil, stand on those promises you’ve listed. The attack may come, but the promise is sure: no weapon formed against you will prosper, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. The Lord has looked upon you. He has heard you. He is taking away reproach. He is adding in His time, just as Rachel named her son Joseph, "adding", in faith that God would give more. He did, though not without sorrow and transformation; the child she called "son of misery" became Benjamin, "son of my right hand." So even the hard places are held in His purpose.
All glory belongs to Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God who stills the storm, heals the sick, and raises the dead. Keep pressing in as Jairus did, when his daughter lay dying: he said, "Just lay your hand on her and she will live." Jesus was not put off by the crowd, nor by the news that the child had already died. He walked past the mourners and brought life. May you see His resurrection power at work in every area you have named, in your children, your home, your work, and your hearts. Thank Him in advance, for He is faithful.
