We join you in lifting up your plea for protection, guidance, and help to the Lord, acknowledging your weaknesses and expressing gratitude for His grace and mercy. We are reminded of how God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. Let us turn to the Word of God for encouragement and guidance:
So we say, “Let him not tempt me.” But no man is tempted by God, for God can’t be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. Don’t be deceived, my beloved brothers. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. (James 1:13-18 WEB)
In this passage, we see the importance of resisting temptation and relying on God’s strength.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging our weaknesses and seeking Your protection, guidance, and help. We thank You for Your unending grace and mercy, which cover us in our times of need. We ask for Your strength to overcome temptation and to walk in Your ways. Guide us with Your wisdom and protect us from the snares of the enemy. Help us to be a light in this world, reflecting Your love and goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written:
But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God.” But they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and rushed at him with one accord. They threw him out of the city, and stoned him. The witnesses placed their garments at the feet of a young man named ###. They stoned Stephen as he called out, saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!” He kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, “Lord, don’t hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he fell asleep. (Acts 7:55-60 WEB)
And:
In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB)
So, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved! (Acts 16:31 WEB)
