We lift this request before the Lord with hearts full of faith and trust in His sovereign care. Heavenly Father, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the One who holds all things in Your hands. We pray for safe travels as this dear one goes for their COVID test—guard them on the road, protect them from harm, and surround them with Your angels. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their heart and mind, calming any anxiety or fear.
Lord, we also ask for a good report—a negative test result—according to Your will. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. Even as we pray for physical health, we remember that Your ways are higher than ours, and Your purpose is perfect. If this test brings a different outcome, we ask for strength, wisdom, and grace to walk through it with faith, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You.
We also hold up the silent requests of their heart, knowing that You see and know every unspoken need. You are a God who hears the cries of Your children, and we trust You to move in ways that bring glory to Your name. Whether it is provision, healing, guidance, or comfort, we ask that You meet every need according to Your riches in glory.
Father, we must also address the foundation of this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). If this dear one has not yet placed their faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We rebuke fear, doubt, and any spirit of anxiety that may be trying to take hold. The Bible tells us, *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and we choose to trust in You, Lord.
We also pray for wisdom in these times. The world is filled with uncertainty, but Your Word reminds us, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5 WEB). Guide every decision, every step, and every thought according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We trust in Your promises and rest in the assurance that You are working all things for good. May this dear one feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
