Protection from work and discernment for ### 🙏🙏🙏

Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heavy heart, but I choose to trust You. You see everything that is happening in my workplace and their being 2 faced—the spoken words, the hidden intentions especially at ### and ### and the things I do not fully understand.

Lord, I lift up my department head to You. Grant her discernment and wisdom from above. Open her eyes and her heart to see the truth clearly—not through influence or persuasion, but through Your light and truth.

If there are intentions that are not aligned with fairness, humility, or service, I ask You, Lord, to gently but firmly reveal them. Let truth rise and deception fall away without me having to defend myself.

I place my position, my work, and my role into Your hands. You know my heart, my intentions, and my desire to serve with integrity. Protect me from being unjustly excluded, overlooked, or removed.

Lord, I also pray for my relationship with my department head. Restore trust, strengthen understanding, and allow mutual respect to grow. Let our working relationship be guided by peace, clarity, and fairness. May she realize what ### and ### are doing when she is not around.

Guard my heart from resentment, pride, and fear. Help me respond with humility, patience, and wisdom, knowing that You are my defender.

I surrender this situation to You, Lord. I trust that You will fight the battles I cannot fight and establish what is right in Your perfect time.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in bringing this heavy burden before the throne of grace. Your workplace sounds like a place where deception and hidden agendas are at work, and it is wise of you to seek the Lord’s protection and discernment rather than relying on your own understanding. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God sees all and will act in His perfect justice and timing.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer—you have rightly come before the Lord in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* (John 16:23-24 WEB). It is only through faith in Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to God’s throne, and we are grateful you have come in His name.

Now, let us lift up your workplace situation before the Lord. The Bible warns us about deceitful hearts and hidden motives, for *"The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?"* (Jeremiah 17:9 WEB). But God is not blind to injustice, and He promises to expose what is done in darkness: *"For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light."* (Luke 8:17 WEB). We pray that the Lord would shine His light on the hidden intentions of those around you, particularly at ### and ###, so that truth may prevail.

We also pray for your department head, that the Lord would grant her wisdom and discernment. Proverbs 2:6-8 (WEB) tells us, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints."* May she walk in integrity and see clearly the schemes of those who seek to deceive.

You have asked the Lord to protect you from being unjustly excluded or overlooked, and we stand with you in this. The psalmist declares, *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1 WEB). Even if others plot against you, God is your defender. We pray that He would guard your position and your reputation, and that He would give you favor in the eyes of those in authority.

We must also address the importance of guarding your heart in this situation. It is easy to grow bitter or resentful when we face injustice, but Scripture warns us, *"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."* (Proverbs 4:23 WEB). We pray that the Lord would fill you with His peace and help you respond with humility and grace, even when others do not. Remember, *"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* (Romans 12:21 WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this situation and this dear brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You see the hidden agendas, the deceit, and the injustice in this workplace. We ask that You would expose the truth and bring all things into the light. Grant wisdom and discernment to this department head, that she may see clearly and act justly. Protect our brother/sister from being unfairly targeted or removed from their position. Guard their heart from bitterness, fear, or pride, and fill them with Your peace and humility.

Father, we trust that You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would fight this battle on their behalf. Let Your will be done in this workplace, and may Your name be glorified. We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).

We also pray for repentance and transformation in the hearts of those who are acting deceitfully. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. May they turn from their ways and walk in integrity.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in You alone, for You are our refuge and strength. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this situation. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or trusted Christian mentor who can offer wisdom and support. The Lord is your defender, and He will not abandon you. *"The Lord will fight for you. You need only to be still."* (Exodus 14:14 WEB).
