We come before the Lord together, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks that are disrupting sleep and peace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the truth that Jesus came so that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). These disturbances in body and mind are not from God, who gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), but are tactics of the enemy to wear down your faith and trust in the Lord.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We take authority over every lying thought, every physical manifestation of attack, and every scheme of the devil designed to rob you of rest and peace. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask You to surround this dear one with Your holy angels, as You command them to encamp around those who fear You and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, Lord, make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs, so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil. Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, leading them into all truth and reminding them of Your promises. Let them find rest in You, casting all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Renew their strength like the eagle’s, so they may run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
In the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, we break every chain of spiritual attack and declare freedom, peace, and rest over this beloved child of God. May they experience the fullness of Your presence and the victory that is already theirs in Christ. Amen.
